Three Words - Kylo Ren

"Are you sure this is right?" I ask mixing the ingredients in the bowl together. I stare down at the brownish substance and nausea slowly starts setting in.

Rey walks into the kitchen and goes to stand beside me. She gently pushes my hands away to look into the bowl.

"This is definitely wrong," she says crinkling her nose in disgust. I can't help but chuckle at her. She looks up a smirk starting to form across her face.

Within seconds a glob of the sickly baking mix is sprayed across my face. I gasp in surprise and wipe it from my eyes. Before me stands Rey a silly grin plastered across her face.

"This is for your own good," I laugh as I pick up the bag of flour on the counter behind me.

"Don't you dare," she warns slowly backing away.

I rush her and flip the bag upside down spilling the contents on top of her. She attempts to run yelling throughout our small quarters. I chase after her with both of us now covered in the white dust.

In a final effort I manage to wrap an arm around her waist. She wriggles in my grip before finally slumping back against me.

"That was not fair," she huffs tilting her head back to look up at me.

I brush a chunk of flour off the tip of her nose. "Neither was throwing cookie mix in my face," I smile down at her before pressing a small kiss to her forehead.

"Is that what it was supposed to be," she laughs turning herself around to face me. A smile lighting up her face.

In that moment she had never looked more beautiful. It was something about the way her eyes crinkle when she says something, and the way she made me feel by just being there.

I felt my stomach turn as I gathered the courage for what I would say next.

"I love you," I said my hand shaking as I reached to brush a strand of white hair from her face.

She freezes for a moment. I knew I shouldn't have said that, and I slowly start to try and free myself from her grip. She pulls me back a smile on her face.

"I love you too," she says.

It was perfect.
