Chapter 20- What Happened?

German and I ran downstairs to see something that shocked us both and all I could do was gasp. Violetta was laying on the floor, no sign of life. I looked over to see that German had just seen the trashed room, as if he had seen Violetta, he would have screamed.

"Turn around and cover your eyes, and whatever you do, don't look!" I said to him. I knew that everything would be much easier if he didn't see Violetta until I had figured out what had happened. As I walked over, turning back my head to check that German still wasn't looking, I noticed there was a note in Vilu's hand.

If you continue with this pregnancy, next time there will be no chance of saving this little brat, I mean your daughter.......

"Vilu?" Was all I could whisper through my tears.

German heard this and before I knew it was by my side crying his eyes out at the horrific sight of his daughter on the floor like that. The only thing I could do was kneel there by Vilu's side with German comforting me crying my eyes out. Who would do this? Suddenly I heard the door open.

"Leon?"

"Violetta! What happened?" Tell me now!"

The only thing I could do was give him the note with my trembling hands. The room was silent, except for the sobs that could be heard from me and German, when suddenly Vilu's hand moved.

"Angie? Where am I?"

"Oh Vilu!!!!" German and I gave her a big hug, and when German finally let go, Leon waked up to her with a smile on his face and kissed her. When they finally parted German suddenly shouted out

"I know who did this!"

"Who?" We all shouted in unison.

"Well there was only one person who called Violetta 'little brat' and by the looks of things, they tried hide it."

"But, they wouldn't go this far surely?" I asked.

"No, they would. Because it was them."

"Who?" Leon asked "In case you haven't noticed, I don't get your secret family code!"

"Well" I said "It was..........."
