"Father you missed everything," Chase's Alpha time travels through my window making it rattle.
"You must have a better excuse than this horse!" I can hear the pain in his voice.
It was as broken as a wishbone on thanksgiving. It mad my heart ache to hug him. I open my eyes and so does Dante. Fire and mint hit my noses strongly. I'm still in Ace's room. I smack my hand over to his side, not there. So now I have to find my way out of the room alone.
"No you don't." Dante pipes in and rips control away from me.
My bones crack and shift. It's painful still but not nearly as much as the first. I whimper out although it now sounds like an injured dog.
When Dante opens his eyes I can feel his smile. We look around and notice the dark brown door is closed and there's no way of opening it with paws. He sighs already tired and sits. A cool breeze flows like river water through our fur. Dante's thoughts are to jumbled for me to understand. They were in knots. All the sudden he jumps up and flips around to face the window.
"It's open." Dante grins like a mad man.
Ohh no. This is a two story jump or as I should say a two story fall to death. Just no. Ace's voice cuts though the air making Dante crouch down ready to jump out to find him.
"You left your daughters wolf exchange...for this?" Ace growls.
Before my dad could answer Dante jumps. I literally pooped my heart out as Dante's heart grows. He lands softly and quietly on the floor. He looks up proud of him self. The guys stare at me like someone was murdered.
"Don't you ever scare me like that again!" Chase yells running over to Dante.
Feeling threatened by Chase, Dante prowls and rips a growl showing our white sharp teeth. Chase shocked started to back away.
My father looks older than he did when he left. Haggard, sickly, tired, pale white face only a little light left in his eyes. Next to him was a horse. A red coat black mane and tail and faded black legs. She was injured with claw marks down her side and back. Deep red blood drips off her tired body. Her green eyes look clouded over for the pain.
"So this is Dante?" Father breaks my judgement.
"Yes. You missed his arrival for a horse who's clearly gonna die." Ace snaps at my father.
"How could he say that about an animal?" I'm deeply hurt by his lack of faith.
He looks over to me and rolls his eyes. This pissed me off.
"If you don't like what I think about then get out of my head!" That was directly to him.
Ace glares at me and growls a little letting me know he heard my message.
Dante takes a step to the injured horse which makes the horse panic behind father. Chase's sigh says this is stupid all over it. The sigh left his mouth and Dante was feeling ticked off already so he charges Chase. I close my eyes and pray that Dante can fight.
"He's strong. Just like you." My father whispers to the horse.
I open my eyes and Dante had Chase's wolf pinned to the floor.
Chase felt threatened enough for his wolf to shift. Dante steps off Chase with his head high and heads back to the horse. Dante let's me know that his intentions with the horse were pure. I see Ace out of the corner of my eye help Chase up and gave him pants to shift back. My father bends to his knees in front of Dante and carefully places a hand on our head. The horse slowly drops her head down to give a good sniff. My fathers smile brightens.
"He has your eyes." Right then it hit me.
He thinks this horse is mom. That can't be. She's dead. Or was dead. Did he use dark magic to bring her back?
Dante let's me gain control of us. I stare longer hoping for a clue of some sort. Why hasn't she shifted?
"Shift Stormy." My father demands.
Following his orders I close my eyes and shift. When my eyes open the first thing I notice is figures coming through the white I normally see.
I reach my hand out to the biggest figure not even caring about my naked body. My hand hit the fur of the cherry bay mare Dante had let us see. Tears well up in my eyes. Sounds and movements from the outside world are closed out from my mind. The white was lifted from my vision and the only thing there was the mare. She looked far into my soul straight into Dante's presents. Her horse figure faded into a small women with black hair and grass green eyes glowing brighter than the sun. The leader our pack called Luna, the partner my father called mate, the woman called mom, and known by all her name was Fox.
She looked to to Dante and I like we were two different people. She smiled and tears came to her eyes.
"The moon goddess found away to save you both," she grabbed both my hands. "She gave the strong wolf of your brother to help protect the weak human of you while it heals," She ran her hand down a part of my hair.
The strand she picked up turned a brown chocolate color.
"And when it heals, you two will raise the pack to the top along side a perfect mate for my perfect twins." She placed a kiss on our forehead and faded into the cherry bay mare.
The white is place back on my vision as I snap into life again. Ace's voice is the first to say anything.
"What the fuck just happened?" shock and fear filled his voice.
I hear foot steps come towards me and the horse. Soon three figures are seen. My father, the smallest, Ace and Chase.
"That's what I call a mother daughter bond." My father says in a "I told you so" voice.
"Father you're-" before Chase can continue I break in.
Shaking my head and wiping my tears from my eyes. I grab the rope to Fox from fathers hands.
"Mother, daughter, and son." I pet Fox's neck and take off the halter.
She doesn't need it. Mom wouldn't leave us. Ace places a hand on the small part of my back and places a shirt over my head.
Chase remains quite. My father speaks up and grabs my hand.
"You can tell us the rest on the way to the doctors." I hear Ace growl a little but quickly hushes.
"Dante was my twin. Mom said the moon goddess saved us both by giving my human Dante which is my twin. It is supposedly giving my human time to heal." I explain as I latch onto Ace's arm when my dad lets go.
He rushes off to find the pack doctor so now I'm left with Ace.
"I can't believe this is happening." He mumbles.
For the first time I can hear Ace's heart beat pick up from his normal beat. His body was getting hot too. His muscles were tense and I feel the power off him again. I get a very uneasy feeling from this."Okay so Stormy. You were 5'0 but you've grow 3 inches in the last 24 hours. The brown coloring that's happening in your hair has no explanation. I don't know what to say." I see a figure pace the room the fire mint smell brushing past me. Ace hasn't stopped moving since the check up started. My father on the other hand had so much excitement he couldn't contain it. Dante was really happy but he was confused on why Ace wasn't.
"We need to get you to training as soon as possible!" Father yells grabbing my hand and taking off out the door. We're closely followed by Ace's foot steps.
