The kiss set fire to my body. I felt like I was burning hot and Ace was the cure. Where ever his hands touched my body the heat went away and it filled with shocks of pressure. He wraps one arm around my waist to pull me closer and his hand grabs behind my neck closing any gap we might have had.
"Ace what do we need to talk abo," Chase stops talking when I assume he saw us. "ACE!" This time it was a growl causing Ace to slowly let me go from the kiss and taking the heat with him.
"Everyone in the conference room. NOW!" Max barks in.
I look up at Ace with wide eyes and shaking but, his simple gesture of putting a hand on my waist, looking me in the eyes giving a slight nod with his head telling me it was okay, was all it took for me to know I was going to be okay.
"He's our mate you dumb lagoon!" He couldn't be.
We didn't have that moment of we are the only people in the world. You know where the guy calls the girl "mine" then can't keep his hands off her. It's was every wolf hopes for and what every wolf tells the story of. We didn't have that.
Ace leads me to a chair closest to my dad and Chase before we start. When we're seated Chase speaks up first.
"I thought we agreed to wait?"
"Ace you could've ruined everything." My dad folds his hands on the table.
"No I didn't. Why do you think I did it? I'd never take advantage of her like that!" Ace's voice raises a little.
I can feel the heat coming off of him so I grab his hand to calm him down a little.
"The only way that's true is if," I look up at Chase then to my dad, Everyone was staring at me and no one was saying a world.
"Can you guys stop staring at me please." I slouch down into my chair.
My dad leans across the table, moving hair that was in front of my eyes out of the way. Ace stiffens but relaxes as soon as my dad pulls away.
"She can see sir. She's ready to know."
My dad just stares at me with tears in his eyes as Chase smiles wildly.
"She's got her mom's eyes." I do?
"Can someone please explain?" Ace looks across the table to see if anyone else wants to explain before he started.
"You're my mate Stormy but when I met you, you were to mentally weak on your human side to be a mate. I felt wrong to to have a blind mate as for they didn't think I was the best fit for you. Then you met your mom and started to grow stronger. We we're seeing why the Moon goddess wanted us. The mate you heard us talking about in the barn was you. I was afraid of you making me weak because love was weak. But it's not. It's strength because I would do anything to protect you. When I talked to Chase and Max, they felt it would be best to wait for your eye sight," he takes a deep breath as he grabs my hand. "You do not understand how hard that was for me to just pretend you were just another girl. It's when I knew I needed you." Ace seems to forget that my brother and dad were in here.
      "Storm I smelt you the day of training. I smelt you when you were the first person to find me. Your better than what you let off to be." I place my hand on his beautiful face and pull him into a soft kiss.
           "Excuse me! We are still here," Chase cuts in. "First things first. You're becoming my co-alpha and Ace will still be our beta but of course you're mate. Never in history has there be two Alpha's but you deserve it." I smile at him. I'm happy he's excepting me and Ace. He wants me to be Alpha with him!
    This is absolutely amazing. I'm becoming apart of the pack I always felt left out in. Ace is my mate! Wait. I have a mate.
     "You're my mate!" I turn to Ace and grab his face in my hands for like the 500th time.
    "Yes Stormy, I'm your mate." He chuckles as he kisses my forehead.
    My father lets out a sigh "I know you'll take care of her Ace."
      "He will father he's my best friend I knew he was her mate as soon as we stepped out of the car. We'll have a party tomorrow night to announce the new Alpha and her mate." Ace grabs my hand under the table, giving it a tight squeeze.
     After the meeting Chase goes to get everything together for tomorrow. Ace and I head into the barn. I was missing my mom so Ace offered to go riding with me.
    "Hey Sterling." I place a halter over his black head.
     He nuzzles me telling me hi back. I can hear Ace's breath behind me.
     "Ace you don't have to watch me. I'm safe here. Go grab Ducky." Ace let's our a laugh as he gently takes Sterling's rope from me.
    "I'm not riding anything named Ducky. Babe I'm a strong man that will seriously hurt my ego." I've never been happier to have my sight back than I am to see Ace pretend to be stabbed in his ego as he ties my horse up.
     I wrap my arms around his waist a playing along with his act.
    "Oh no! We couldn't ever let that happen," I start walking him over to where Ducky's stall is.
     Ducky does not fit his name. He's a huge, strong, stallion, I'm not sure of his color but I know that he's beautiful and Ace will love him.
Once we reach his stall I open the door to come face to face with a light brown horse with a white strip on his head. He was bigger than Sterling.
     "Why in the actual hell is his name Ducky?" Hiding my laughing I hand him a halter and walk back to my horse.
On the ride Ace surprises me. He knows how to ride. I guess we've never talked about it so I just assumed he was too busy to ever learn or even get on. Him and Ducky are practically the same person. If Ace looks at something, Ducky looks at the same thing. Seeing him ride makes me fall in even more love with him.
    I'm in love with him.
   "I love you too." Ace smiles pulling Ducky to a stop.
   Ugh I told him to get out of my head. Why can't he just stop?
    "Ace I'm serious stop doing that!"
   He just looks at me with a smile and shakes it of.
      "We need to get home. You have to find a dress for tomorrow love." He makes a kissy face at me before turning Ducky around and taking off.
      A dress. I'm thinking a long, dark red dress, that has a slit in the leg. I've never been able to see what I look like in a dress. Or you know see at all.
     Omg. I'm going to be officially an Alpha and a mate. I'm gonna have to protect a whole pack when I can barely protect myself. I'll have to keep Ace happy and loved. What am I doing? I'm not ready for this!
