Hi guys!!! Okay...so if you guys think this is getting boring...read on! Well...this isn't really the part where all the...er...stuff?...starts, but i really needed to add this chapter.

"UGHHHHHHH!!!" Val shrugged and fell on her bed. She was sooo tired from practice, and now she had to find an outfit.

She walked up to her closet, and shrugged even more. Her closet was filled with all sporty clothes. She never wore anything else. Maybe it was because she was always playing a different sport with her friends everyday, and coming home right after for practice, or it was because she just...didn't care.

What's the whole point of fashion if you can just wear this?

She looked into her closet and all she saw was dissapointment.

Her closet was full of dull greys, blacks, reds, and blues. With a touch of greens and whites somewhere in there. But everything was worn out, and dull. Her shoes were dirty, and most of them were sneakers. She only had one pair of shoes. And they were a pair of shiny, black flats. For parties. All her dresses were all the way in the back, but none of them were neon. This was going to be harder than she thought.

Val is not like the other Cupcakes. She's more of a tomboy. She likes going out with her guys and playing sports with them. They say they like her cuz they can treat her like a dude. Her only friends that are girls are the Cupcakes. She has light brown hair like her sister, but it's shoulder length, so it won't bother her when she playes sports. It's just long enough so she can take all her hair back into a tight ponytail. Her hair is wavier than Becka's straight hair. It was wavier, because of...all...the sports she does...and it has something to do with humidity...WHATEVER. It's just...wavier. She has cute, brown eyes, that show how kind she is, and show she's not rough because she plays sports. Her tan skin is a perfect match with her brown eyes and light brown hair. She's so tan because she spends so much time outdoors in the summer, playing sports. As you can see, she's not much of a fashionista.

She stood in front of her closet a little longer, and she couldn't take it anymore. She turned around, to text her sister to come to her room. If you are wondering why, it's because they don't allow to go into each-other's room unless they get permission from the other.

As she turned around to get her phone, she tripped over her Lacrosse helmet and stick. In a matter of moments, her sister came running into her room.

"Are you okay?" she asked, helping Val up.

"Yeah. Uh..what happened to 'permission for admission'?" Val said, reminding her sister of the room rules. "Sorry. I just heard this large BANG! and i just thou-" Val cut her off. "it's okay. I was just about to call you, anyways." Val said.

"Okay...what could you possibly want from me?" Becka said, confused. Her sister never actually 'needed' her, unless it was for help moving something, or for money. But, she saw everything was in place, and not in need of moving, and she DEFINATLY didnt need money late this hour.

"I need you to help me pick out an outfit for the Jam." Val said, sounding very desperate.

"Okay. But first, I have to be truthful with you about your style..." Becka said, unsure whether to say it.

"Kay, just tell me." Val said.

     "nooo...you'll get mad."

"Tell. Me." Val said, getting very impatient.

" Well...your style...is...just...well...err....uh...BYE!" Becka said, popping up from the bed, trying to make a run for the door, but she was stopped in her tracks by Val, who pushed her back down on the bed, and pinned her down, holding her upper arms, so she can't escape. Becka tried to forcefully get out of Val's grip, but Val's muscualar, toned arms were no match for Becka's thin arms.

"NO FAIR!! YOU'RE STRONG!!" Becka screamed, finally giving up.

"Exactly. Now. Will you tell me?" Val said, losening her grip a little.

"Ugh, fine...okay...so..your style...is..." she shrugged. "horrible." she covered her face really really fast so her sister doesnt go all buzurk on her 'beautiful' face.

"Ughh. I know. It's horrible. I mean, i haven't ever thought abut it cuz...you know...i always hang out with the guys and there are really no special 'dressy' occasions. You know?" Val looked very upset.

"Aww, I know. But...let's make it all better by finding something for the Jam." Becka got up, and started tearing apart her whole closet.

"No. No. NEVER. UGH! Ew...Uh...NO. Hm....NO." is what she kept saying, until she found the PERFECT outift.

"Okay. I'm going to take this shirt from you...get some skinny jeans from my closet...and get my orange oxfords!!" Becka said, rushing into her room, and bringing back the cutest pair of jeans from her closet.

She came back with these royal blue skinny jeans, which just attacked Val's eyes, and she couldn't keep her eyes off them...

Then, she took out these pink, lace oxfords and Val almost died at the sight of them. She just...couldn't be able to pull it off.

And then, she dug out an old shirt from Val's closet that she NEVER wore.

It was a pink crop-tank with lines in the back that show a little skin in the back.

Val put it on and gasped. She was just in utter AWE. She couldn't believe it was her. She stood in front of her mirror, with her mouth open.

"I'm guessing my work here is done..." Becka started walking away, and walked up to Val and shut her mouth. "I get it. You look STUNNING. Now close your mouth before flies fly in there." she said, and walked out the door. But she popped her head in there before she could get any more further. "oh..and can you wear the friendship bracelet from Charlotte Russe that all of us got. Okay? It kind of goes with the 'Friendship' theme, you know? I'll tell everyone. Oh! and I almost forgot. You deserve this. Take it. Keep it. It matches with your outfit." Becka said, taking off her blue sapphire pendant necklace and giving it to Val. Val refused to take it, but Becka talked her into it. So she took it.

She tried it on, and she loved it. She fell in love with it. She was flipping out because she never wore anything like this and she just thought she looked...ugly in it. But she was WRONG. She looked MUCH better in it than she thought.

As Val looked at herself in the mirror, all she could think about was Josh Young...her crush. Yeah sure, he was the school hottie, and every girl loved him, but her love for him was...well...different. She didn't love him because he was good at basketball, or because he was hot, she liked him because she thought he was nice. And sweet. They were on the same basketball team, since she was too good for the girls' basketball team. So her coach moved her to the boys'. That's where she met Mike, her best guy friend. The guy she tells EVERYTHING to. The only guy in the whole world who EVER saw her staring googly-eyed at Josh. The only one that she trusted with this information. her best friend. I mean...sure she's nest friends with the Cupcakes, but she's known Mike longer, and she's learned to trust him...with EVERYTHING.

As she sat on her bed, her phone vibrated. She looked at it. It was a message from Josh. They exchanged phone numbers her first day on the team. That's what she did with everyone on the team.

Her phone said:

Hey, come to the gym. Basketball surprise practice. Just us, and the coach. he said star players only. TOP SECRET.

VAL WAS EXSTATIC! She slipped on some basketball shorts and a teeshirt with some random sneakers and ran to the gym.

But what came next was definatly...NOT...BASKETBAL... PRACTICE...
