#11 Becka [almost] Blew It...

HEY!! I know I haven't been updating as much as usual, thats because i was in CANADA!!!

Or...How my friend call it...CANADAIA!!!

They opened the cutrain, and there they stood, ready.

WOAH. You thought they were READY?!?! They Cupcakes? PFFT. Not even CLOSE. I'm just talking about their instruments. Their instruments were ready, unlike them. 

Sophie and Skylar were trying to push Becka up the stairs to the back-stage area, and she just couldn't do it. She was too scared. 

"UGHH!! GET UP THERE!!!" Sophie screamed for the tenth time. They have been trying to get her up tehre the whole break, and they had to ask the D.J. to extend the break.

"WHERE ARE CANDIE AND VAL?!?!?!?!" Skylar said, trying to get Becka up the stairs, but she was stronger than she looked. 

"They're doing mic, guitar, and drum checks." Sophie said, pointing to the closed curtain where you could see shadows of two girls, moving around, playing intruments, going up to the microphones, and sitting at the drum set. 

Suddenly, Becka escaped Skylar's grip, and twisted her arm, while ducking under it.

"OWW!! CALM DOWN LADY!!" Skylar screamed. becka let go.

"Where'd you learn to do...THAT?!?!" Sophie said, staring at Becka in astonishment.

"Just one of the benefits of having a sister who's an expert in almost EVERY sport." Becka said, makinf a karate position.

"Now. I shall leave. Becka said, turning around, but Skylar grabbed her arm and oushed her to Sophie. 

"Listen Becka, If you leave right now, then it will be a lot worse than messing up when you play. You just have to imagine that you are back at the garage, practicing your butt off for THIS. You'll be fine! It doesn't matter you screw up of anything. It's not as bad as baling on your friends on the day we were waiting for to come practically all our lives. NOW. WHO"S GONNA ROCK THIS THING??" Sohie said, shaking Becka. 

"THE CUPCAKES!!" Becka screamed, shaking Sophie beck.

"YES! TRIUMPH!" Sophie and Skylar high-fivind.

"Wow. You guys sound like Gaspard and Lisa." Becka said, 

They all looked at her, confused.

"You know, the two bunnies or somethin' from that kids' show Gaspard and Lisa..." Becka said, trying to explain.

"OHH!!!" Both of them finally realized what she said.

And with that, they all ran up the stairs beckstage and got to their place.

Sophie put her lips close to the mic, and gave them an approving nod.

Val and Candace picked up their guitars, their fingers ready, on the first chord.

Becka adjusted her keyboard sound, and put her fingers on the keys.

Sky put up her drum sticks, and hit them together four times.
