CHAPTER 8
Nicole POV**
"Who...?" I heard myself mutter. My vision was spinning as my eyes fluttered open. All I could see was a white ceiling with black flakes. Then something else came into view. A boy. I sat myself up slowly, tryig hard not to tip over. The boy looked very familiar, but my memory was so it didn't ring a very loud bell.
I looked at him with a confused expression clear as crystal on my face. I continued staring at him for a few long moments, trying to remember. Even when he looked awkward and uncomfortable he looked really cute. His shaggy side-swept hair. His sparkly blue eyes. His dimples that showed even when he wore a poker face. It was all so adorable. Who was he? My mind was working overtime trying to grasp some kind if information.
I suddenly realized we weren't alone in this small room. "Brandon, you can go back to class now. Good thing you saw her laying on the floor before she got trampled by you speedy kids these days. If she had laid there any longer she could have gone completely unconcious." A small fragile nurse said in her high voice.
"Oh, uh, ok then Ms. B. You sure she'll be okay?" he sounded worried as his eyes wandered in my direction. The nurse, Ms. B as he had called her, gave a short nod. "Alright, I'll come back before next period's class to check on her." He then turned back towards me. "Um, bye Nicole." He turned and walked out of the room.
