Chapter 12-
**Melody POV
I knew exactly what she was talking about. Almost three years ago, we were best friends. We did everything together. Then one day I mysteriously left her for her sister. I still remember the horrified look that was on her face, it has scarred me. Nicole, Zack, Matt, Ashley, and I always hung out in our own little group. Then when I left, the four of them stuck together. Ashley replaced my "Best-Friend Status" and Zack remained her best guy friend. I still think the reason she likes Zack more than Matt is because Zack has a huge crush on her. But Nicole doesn't know that. Even though it is obvious.
Melody: I really shouldn't be telling you this, but I think I owe you some sort of explanation.
Nicole: You Think?
Melody: Well the truth is I left becau-
My text message was cut off by Mr. Varsela, who yelled my name, startling me, and making me accidentally press send.
"Ms. Knights, since you apparently know everything about Potassium, please tell the class where it is on the table of periodic elements?" He said to me, extremely sarcastic and annoyed.
"Um.... Sorry Mr. Varsela. Ill pay more attention." I said quickly and quietly. As he turned back to the board, my eyes gazed over to Zoë, who was glaring at me like she knew who I was texting. I quickly adverted my eyes and dropped them back to my screen.
