A/N: I haven't been getting any suggestions and I really wanna get this thing going so here's a lil som som.

His back collided with the wall from the force of my push. Then, our lips collided right after.

I wrapped my legs around his waist as we passionately kissed. Joji broke this kiss to catch his breath, lips still touching mine. He watched me.

"Is something wrong?" I gave him a worried look.

"No... I just like to stare..." He smirked, nibbling the g-spot on my neck.

"Fuck..." I tilted my neck the other way to give him more access, closing my eyes.

Then, he stopped. I looked back at him. His attention was to the window.

"Joji...? Is everything okay?"

"Yeah it's just... snow..."

I smiled. "Yeah, George. We live in New York. We get snow." I tended to use his full name when I got cynical.

"Yeah but... it's the first snow this year..." Joji continued to stare at the snow. He seemed lost in thought.

"Joji?" I tilted my head.

He snapped out of his trance. "Hey, I'm not... horny anymore... can we just cuddle?"

"Hmm?" I couldn't force him into sex, so we just warmed up on the couch.

"So... what happened? With the snow?"

"Snow is just... so fragile... it goes away so fast... sometimes so fast you can't even get to touch it. It's like life.... you know what I mean? So fleeting..."

"You and your existentialism... how did snow make you think of that?" I smiled.

"Well... in Japan snow doesn't really stay as long as it does here... so we feel some type of way with things like first snow. We call it 'hatsuyuki'."

The way the word rolled off his tongue. Chills.

"I thought you forgot to pay one of the bills or something... you looked so... shocked. It worried me."

"Death is scary... I don't wanna die. I don't want you to worry about me. I don't want to lose you..."

I squeezed him. "We have each other. And as long as I'm with you, and you're with me, we'll protect each other to the end. Right?"

He grinned. "Yeah... you're right."

There was a long silence. I listened to the sound of Joji's breathing. Then, the silence was broken.

"Hey, (Y/N)?"

"Yeah?" I looked up at him.

"I love you."

I smiled. Then, I decided to be creative. "Aishiteru yo."

Joji's heart skipped a beat. I felt it.

"Joji?"

He sighed, hugging me tight. "Aishiteru wa." He kissed my head.

I thought I was saying "I love you", but I guess in Japanese it means so much more than just that. I realized that when he proposed to me the next day. Of course, I said yes. And I meant everything. I would protect Joji with my life. And till death do us part.
