Labis na ikinatakot ni Amber ang bantang kanyang na receive from the mayor himself. Dahil dito she tried to convince her mother. Lahat na halos ng paraan ay ginawa niya just to convince her mother. She succeeded.
Amber's POV
Sa takot ko ay nagawa kong maconvince ang nanay ko even though she's stubborn. Na pa agree ko siyang tumigil nung binanggit ko ang sinabi sakin ni Liam dati na "The only constant thing in the world is change".
Hindi ko sinabi sakanya ang tunay na rason dahil nangangamba akong mangyari ang bagay na ayokong mangyari sa pinakaworst na paraan. It's almost midnight. I decided to sleep after finishing my school works na binigay kailan lang.
Today is Monday at narito nako sa aking puwesto. We presented our works na ginawa ko kagabi. Afterwards the bell rang meaning it's recess. I saw Liam walking in the hallway. I ran towards him and hugged him.
Liam's POV
Tinitignan ko lang ang mga future activities ng school sa aming bulletin nang bigla akong niyakap ni Amber. At first I thought it was someone else. I asked her why and she said "let's move first to the canteen so we can go make ourselves comfortable".
Pumunta kami sa canteen at nakahanap ng puwesto. Pagkaupo na pagkaupo namin ay bigla siyang nagkwento. "Remember when we were at Picadilly? You took pictures of me through your Polaroid and I asked to take them?" She said.
Shocks Hindi ko maalala ang sinasabi niya. It took me almost a minute before I remembered. "Ahh Oo! Bakit?" I replied and she rolled her eyes and said "nagkaroon Kasi kami ng presentation na kailangan ng pictures namin tas I remembered my photos you took".
"Ahh so yun nalang yung ginamit mo?" I replied again and she also replied "yep that's why I hugged you bilang pasasalamat. Bukod dun kailangan ko rin ng karamay". Tinanong ko siya kung bakit. Amber explained the banta of the mayor to her mother.
Amber's POV
I can see that his shocked based from his expression. He offered me for an another hug and I accepted it. I felt warm and safety as his broad shoulders starts to squish me. Our siblings in school started teasing us again. The bell rang and hours passed by and everyone started going home.
I was suprised nung inakbayan niya ako habang naglalakad ako papalabas ng school. "Come with me I'll treat to Lit burgers. This time it's my treat" he said and I agreed because this is libre we're talking about. Umorder nanaman siya ng sandamkmak na burgers.
What can i say those are his favorites. Habang kumakain kami ay nagusap kami tungkol sa aming mga sarili kung kamusta naman ang buhay namin. Biglang nag flash sa television ng Lit burgers na Hindi daw nagtagumpay ang protesta.
I held my tears dahil mukha na akong kawawa. "Don't worry it's not the end of the world marami pa tayong challenges na haharapin at sample palamang to" he said in a comforting manner.
Ewan ko ba pero parang nafafall nako sakanya pero Hindi pwedeng mangari yun dahil ayokong ako ang maging dumb girl. I'm not one of the dumb girls out there. Natapos ang araw at umuwi na ang dalawa. Lungkot sa mga mata ang nakita sa mga mata ni nanay.
