Peggy wasn't kidding
When Lafayette, Herc, John, and Alex made it to the hotel at about 4p.m. they were immediately surprised at the beautiful room. It also had a large balcony outside, and you could see the ball slowy inching its way down towards new years.
Everyone was dressed up too. Herc had made shure every man had a suit, and went out of his way to make a new elegant red dress for Maria.
The room itself had three large couches arranged in a half circle to face a large flat screen television. It also had a couple bedrooms, just in case people were too drunk to drive or.... other reasons. Speaking of which, Peggy and Herc had a plan. You see one of the bedrooms had its own small balcony, which is precisely how they intended for Herc to surprise Lafayette. He wanted to give his boyfriend a night to remember.
And he couldn't think of a better way to spend his New Years Eve.
