Chapter 10

"So there is a party at Jonah's house tonight. Almost the whole grade is going. Wanna come? He told me to invite you." Corbyn asked me and he said the last part scowling. Weird.

"Ummm......I am not sure." I said.

"Why?"

"Uh, I don't even know him that well so its kinda awkward, i guess. And there will be all populars there, I don't know anyone of them."

"Well, thats not a problem at all. I will be there and you can also invite Christina and Chloe to come with you. I am sure Jonah will not mind." He said

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yupp."

"Okay then I think I might come." I smiled at him and he also shot me his million dollar smile which I had became really fond of.

Atlast the school ended. I was waiting for that since the class after break. I was really tired.

So when I opened my rooms door I didn't stop to do anything, straight went to my room. I took a quick shower and lay down on my bed then went to sleep.

It may have been couple of hours when I woke up because of the vibration of my phone. I groaned then answered the call without seeing the caller ID and pressed the phone to my ears.

Violet, Corbyn

"Hello."

"Hello, sleeping beauty."

"How do tou know that I was sleeping?"

"I can guess that by your voice."

"Oh. How observant of you!"

"Ha-ha, yeah. Now sleeping beauty if you don't want to be late for the party, wake up.

"What party?"

"You alteady forgot? Today is Jonah's party and you are invited."

"Yeah, I rememner now. What time is it now?"

"6."

"Its already 6. I better start getting ready then."

"Yeah. Are Chloe and Christina also coming?"

"Yes, they are."

"Cool then get ready. I will see you in the party. Bye."

"Okay, bye."

I hung up the phone then started getting ready for the party.

I entered Jonah's house really nervous. As soon as I entered the house the smell of sweat and alcohol hit me and loud music was blurtingbout through the speaker.

I looked around the house in hope of founding someone familiar but I didn't. So I went to the bar and ordered a drink.

I was enjoying my drink when two boys came up to me. I recognised them as Jonah and Zach.

"Hey! I am Jonah." Jonah introduced himself.

"And I a-" Zach was going to introduce himself but I cut him off.

"You are Zach. I know you guys." I said to them.

"Cool. Being popular has its own benefits, right? I mean you already know us." Jonah said.

"Yeah, i guess. And I am Violet. Nice to meet you guys." I said.

"We already know you." Jonah said.

"Corbyn talks a lot about you. I can see why." Zach said looking at me up and down and making me blush.

"Yeah, you are gorgeous, Violet. I really don't understand how I have never seen you before." Jonah said.

"Thanks guys." I said to them smiling.

"You are welcome. Anyways we have to go now. Enjoy the party. And we will see you sometime later?" Jonah asked.

"Of course."

"Bye. See you later, gorgeous." Zachs said winking at me.

"Bye." I said laughing
