Chapter 7

The next morning I woke up and heard my parents fight which was nothing new they fight all the time my Mom tries to avoid arguing but that's not always possible. I let out a long sigh and stand up thank god it was Saturday and I don't have school.I took my phone and went downstairs to eat breakfast ignoring my parents. I switched on my phone and my heart started beating faster.Did Shawn see the message I sent him? A part of me wanted that he saw it but the other part of me was terrified that he saw it.Shawn saw it and he replied " Alicia beautiful name! That night after the concert was really special because you are special and I really want to meet you again so badly." Seems like he comes the point quickly and the thing is I want to meet him again too but there is no possible way of us meeting.I didn't write back I had no idea what. I laid my phone away and went to the supermarket with my Mom after that I helped her cooking and cleaning the house.Normally I don't help her but I needed something to distract me.It didn't really work I still thought about Shawn and that message. In the evening I took my phone and saw that he send me several other messages "Hello Alicia? You there? "If you don't want to talk to me just tell me." "Or if you don't want to meet me I could totally understand that." I sat in front of my phone thinking for more than ten minutes then I finally texted " Shawn it's that I don't want to meet you or that I don't like you it's the complete opposite I have always dreamed about meeting you it's just that it isn't possible I have school and my parents and where should we even meet?"
He replied immidiately "I'm in Madrid right now you can book the flight I pay." Is he freaking serious? I send "Are you serious?" "Course I am there is nothing else I want than seeing you again.I'm dying here without you and I know this sounds crazy because I talked to you for just half an hour but there is something I can't really explain it but I need to see you again." I read the text and smiled like an idiot.There is no freaking way that SHAWN MENDES texted me this Am I dreaming? I hit myself to check if I were but no I'm awake. I just can't believe this.I always dreamed that this would happen but I never believed that he would actually notice me.That's insane! I need to fly to Spain.
I texted back"Okay you convinced me I'm coming to see you!" Right I didn't ask my parents but I will find a way that they let me. I throw some clothes in my suitcase took my passport booked a flight and called a cab. Mom and Dad were sitting in the living room watching TV. I said " I'm sleeping over at a friend's place we have to do a school project together I'll be back in a week or something." I ran out of the house giving my parents no chance to stop me.Tomorrow I'll call the school that I'm sick and then that's it. Actually I'm not a liar at all but I needed to lie in order to be able to go and see Shawn. Some more hours and I will be there in the beautiful hot Spain.
