Chapter 8

I got my luggage and looked around trying to find someone familiar.I turned around one time and saw Geoff. I walked up to him very nervous when I reached him I said a bit insecure "Hello Geoff,my name is Alicia you know the girl Shawn texted with." We shook hands and he responded " Good that you found me.I guess otherwise I would have spend the whole day looking for you.Shawn just went in a shop to buy some water he will be back soon." I giggled a little soon could take a while if it's Shawn saying soon. Geoff asked "Why are you laughing? "Oh nothing" To be honest it felt kind of weird to be around those people.I mean I kind of know them but to them I'm just a stranger and they know nothing about me and it just felt a bit awkward.I chatted a bit with Geoff and then I saw him coming towards us. Shawn. I couldn't help myself but smile he looked so cute.With his messy hair and the headband in it because it was already way too long.Wearing sport clothes,head phones in his ears and in one hand a water bottle in the other hand his phone.I needed some time to realize that this is actually happening and not just a dream.I was meeting him a second time.There were millions of butterflies in my stomach and my heart was beating so fast I wonder if he can hear it. When he reached us he hugged me tightly and my lungs filled with his scent.He smells so freaking good. "Hey Alicia,you have no idea how happy I'm that you are here.One second without meeting you again and I would have gone insane I swear.Are you hungry?We still have to wait for my family they also come to visit me." I screamed in excitement " Oh my god I'm going to meet all of the Mendes!" Shawn looked at me then at Geoff then back at me and they both started to laugh heavily.Great I actually didn't want to be the crazy fan girl. When they calmed down again they apologized for laughing at me and we went to eat something at a not too fancy restaurant.While eating Geoff asked " You met at a concert right." Shawn nodded " Yeah I touched her hand and it was different than all the others it felt like there was electricity flowing through my body.It was just magical and then after the concert I just find her and I did.We went outside and talked until she had to go stupid me I didn't ask what her name was but wanted to know that and then I went to bed and the next day she was the first thing that came to my mind and she didn't leave it the whole it was like this for some days and then I tweeted it luckily she responded and now she is here and I couldn't be happier. I smiled and right in that moment his phone rang.His parents telling him that they arrived he told them where we were and some minutes later they came.Manny,Karen and Aaliyah greeted Shawn then Geoff and when Aaliyah saw me she said to Shawn " You finally got a girlfriend? I'm proud brother." We both blushed and Karen punched Aaliyah in the upper arm " Hey young lady don't make it embarrassing for your brother." They all laughed and Shawn introduced me to his parents " Mom,Dad,Aaliyah this is Alicia or Lizzy and she is the girl I told you about you know the girl I met at my concert and no she is not my girlfriend but I really want to get to know her better and maybe when everything is going to work out like I want it to she will be my girlfriend." Woah I didn't expect this at all but I'm so happy that he sees it like this.I shook hands with them and it seemed like everyone was happy to meet me.
