Chapter 13

Lizzy's POV
We were on the plane, finally after 2 hours of waiting . Shawn has been acting weird the whole day especially since the others went to catch their flights. He didn't even really talk to me the whole day I'm getting scared. Did he change his mind? Am I not interesting anymore. He snapped me out of my thoughts "Are you hungry? I looked at him a little confused and also disappointed. He didn't talk to me for a whole day and now that's all he gots to say? I just shook my head. He sighed "Hey are you mad or something." I shook my head again "Nah why should I be?,you are the one who didn't talk to me all day." He ran his fingers through his hair "Hey I'm sorry I'm just scared to meet your parents." I smiled that was so cute. I pecked his lips and leaned against him. "What was that for?" "Just for being cute, and my parents are a little strict but you'll see they'll like you. I mean everybody likes you." He smiled. The whole flight was pretty relaxed we talked a little watched a movie and then we were already back in Vienna. We got off the plane and I could tell that Shawn was even mire nervous than before... he was biting his nails and mumbling some not understandable words. I took his hands to keep his nails safe and intertwined our fingers "My Mom is always looking at hands first and when she sees your nails...." He looked at me panicking a little and I laughed "Just kidding but you don't be so nervous my paren't aren't going to kill you, I promise." He smiled at me a little but I could tell it was forced. I looked around a bit until I finally saw him. I let go of Shawn's hand and started running in his direction.
Shawn's POV
Suddenly Lizzy started running I was so confused until I saw that she was heading for a boy, way too young to be her father and after all the things I have heard about her father I doubt that she would greet him like that. Actually the boy looked more like my age maybe a bit younger, perhaps her brother she never told me about a brother though? It can't be her boyfriend? Can it? Did she lie to me all the time? They hugged each other and were laughing, they seemed so close... after what felt like an eternity they let go of each other and she looked my way. I walked over to them. She said "Shawn, that's Dominic my best friend and Dominic well you know him." He nodded and we shook hands "Yes I do know him at least the million things you have told me, there wasn't one second she didn't mention you, annoying I tell you." I blushed a little. She took my hand and we went to Dominic's car. Every second we were getting nearer to her parent's house and I still had no single idea what I'd say. Time went by too fast and Lizzy has already rang the doorbell. Her Mom opened the door and hugged her, they said something in german unfortunately I couldn't understand anything. Her Mom looked at me then back at her daughter then back to me. We shook hands "Nice to meet you Shawn." "I feel very honored to meet you Mrs. Peterson." Lizzy asked "Is Dad home?" Her Mom nodded "I think you have to explain him something, a lot." Her Mom patted Lizzy's shoulder "Don't be afraid as long as you aren't pregnant I guess it's going to be okay." I took Lizzy's hand "I'll talk to your Dad." She looked at me and shook her head. I felt so sorry right now that she is in that situation just because if me. We got inside and her Dad was reading a book in the living room he looked up at first he seemed happy to see his daughter however the second he saw me his expression turned to the opposite. He asked pretty harsh "What's that singer doing here? You didn't sleep with him did you? He isn't the right one for you. Don't you understand one night he is with you and the next he has someone else." Her voice was calm "Dad please, it's Shawn he is a good boy and nothing happened between us." I couldn't help but say something "Yes that's right Sir. And I would never cheat on a girl-" he interrupted me "Shush I didn't ask you besides that's what they all are saying. I have already found a good man for you Alicia don't worry." I saw her swallowing she was surprised by what her Dad said. "But Dad-" He shushed her as well "Now get this boy outside and you young lady you'll stay here and you won't waste another second of your life with this singer." I saw that tears were rolling down her cheeks but her Dad didn't care he took her arm in a very brutal way and pulled her upstairs. I can't stand men who treat women like that I wanted to go after them but Lizzy's Mom held me back "Let it be Shawn...it will do no good for her it's the best when you go now."I didn't want to but I also knew that her Mom was right. I went outside and had no idea what to do. The only thing I know is that I have to see her again. Together we will come up with something for sure. I just hope everything will work out in the end.
