Captain scarlet: We will destroy Unity city

The battle aboard Cloudbase

As soon as Toshi was knocked out, Lieutenant Teal rushed into the room and, upon seeing Black, punched the Mysteron agent square on the jaw. Black fell back before lashing out with his feet and kicking Teal in the face. He joined Fantasy on the floor but remained conscious.
As Black rushed out the room Teal forced himself to his feet determinedly. By the time Fantasy had come round, Scarlet had torn off his black uniform sleeve to hold the broken lever in place  and was in hot pursuit of the Mysteron agent!

The indestructible agent's bare hands burned from the friction of the metallic pole that he took as a shortcut to the cargo bay where the Angel aircraft were stored . But since Spectrum scientists have taken back Scarlet from Mysteron control, his body retains the power to heal from minor wound immediately. 
When Captain Scarlet saw one of the jets starting up he rushed to the cockpit.
"I must stop him!" he thought urgently.

He leaped aboard and jumped inside. 
Meanwhile the aircraft rose to Cloudbase's runway while Black and Scarlet struggled.
"No you don't, Black! You're not starting those engines!" Scarlet spoke through gritted teeth.
While the two men fight, the ship's equipment acts automatically. The steam catapult shoes slam home... and then fire!

But the aircraft's engines are not operational. The plane tips over the edge over the runway and begins to fall.
A chair rockets from the escape hatch... one man has escaped. While the other is completely trapped!
Lieutenant Teal and Fantasy Angel rushed to runway in time to see the aircraft go over. Using his Spectrum issued binoculars Teal focused on the figure in the seat, who was now parachuting to safety.
"It's Captain Black!" he exclaimed,
"Then where's Captain Scarlet?" Toshi asked fearfully.
"Oh no! He's still inside the plane!"

The two recruits watched in horror as the rapidly falling jet burst into flames as it headed towards the ocean.
