Chapter 12: The Demonic Wolf God

(Y/n)'s pov

I wake up with the sunlight in my eyes. All I could see was a blur. After a few seconds, my vision started getting clearer. I could see much more. I was in a small room, not a so bad in my opinion, with a closet, a drawer next to it, and a small desk next to the bed that I was on. It was a sturdy bed, and comfortable to lay on. I try to sit up, but I felt immense pain on my body, making me lie down in bed again. I noticed that I have a new, clean, tight, (SF/c) shirt on, and that my wolf arms were wrapped in bandages. I try to sit up again, ignoring the pain. I took off my shirt, and find myself wrapped in bandages. I touch my shoulder, feeling the bite wound, and the pain that came with it. I look out the window, where the sunlight came in. People were cleaning and fixing their houses.

Me: I guess the wolves didn't leave without doing some damage to the town.

I started hearing foots steps coming. I got out of bed to get ready to fight, but the pain shot throughout my body, making me fall to the floor. I tried my best to stand in my fighting stance, on all fours. The door opens, revealing Lilo holding a tray of food. She was wearing a long red skirt, and a blue blouse with sleeves reaching above the elbows.

Lilo: "Mr.(Yn/n)! What are you doing out of bed?! You're not supposed to be moving for awhile."

She places down the tray on top of the drawer, and helps me up. I snarl at her with grimace, scaring her.

Me: "I do not need your assistance! I shall take my leave."

I stand up, and with the first two steps, I was about to fall, until Lilo used herself as a support. I grunt in pain, as she helps me back to bed. As I lay in bed, she went to pick up the tray.

Me: "Why are you taking care of me?"
Lilo: "Because you're hurt."
Me: "Don't you know who I am?"
Lilo: "You're someone who protected, and saved the people of this town. So I would like to be the first to say thank you."

She made a loving smile. She placed the tray on the desk, and head to the door.

Lilo: "Call me if you need anything!"

She leaves, closing the door. I scoff, knowing that I need the help and care of a peasant girl. What I don't understand is, why aren't my wounds healing like they should?

Me: "With the Imperial arms, I should be able to heal ten times faster than a normal human. Hmm... just what on earth are those wolves?"

My senses caught a delicious smell in the air. It lead to the tray that Lilo brought. It was Fried ham, bacon, and some eggs, with juice.

Me: "It'd be rude not to eat them."

I placed the tray in my lap, enjoying the delicious smell. I took the ham in my hand, and ate it in one bite. My tastebuds had never felt so much pleasure. I ate the bacon in seconds, tasting really crispy. Then I ate the eggs which had the perfect amount of flavor, and finally I chug down the juice.

Me: "I've never eaten something so good. Looks like she is a witch."

Timeskip

I wake up from my nice nap. I blink my eyes a few times, feeling groggy. I touch my wounds again, and felt no pain. I took off my shirt and bandages, to find the wounds gone. I got up with no problems, and started moving around, and stretching.

Me: "Alright time to get to the bottom of this."

I look around the room trying to find my old shirt. I then heard Lilo's footsteps.

Me: "Come in."

She took in a sharp breath, surprise that I knew she was there. She opens the door, and stands behind me.
