"Just be at the Snack Falcon, the store I work at, tomorrow morning. Early. Like, in 5 hours. Bring a baseball bat or something." Gregg said. "5 hours? What time is it?" My eyes widened as I realized I totally lost track of time. All I knew is that we left my house at 8. "Midnight." Angus spoke. That was one of the first things he'd ever said to me. "Already? Geez. But sure, Snack Falcon at 5 a.m." I smiled. Doing crimes didn't sound like a good thing but I still wanted to hang on and see what Gregg and Mae was up to.

When I got home, mom approached me. She had tons of questions about the party. If I had fun, got any new friends, etc. I just nodded or shook my head as answers. And I knew I wouldn't get away with sneaking out at 5 in the morning so I had to come up with a believable excuse for that too, and I had to come up with it fast. "And, mom? My friend, Mae, is going to meet a friend of hers who's coming to town tomorrow with a morning train. She asked me if I wanted to go to the train station with her, so I decided to hang on." I let out a sigh in relief as I understood that mom believed me. I don't really like lying but I'm good at it, luckily. "Okay sweetie. Go to bed now so you can get any sleep before morning. Goodnight." She said and hugged me.

I set my alarm at 4:30 and when I woke up, I was barely feeling alive. Too little sleep can drive me crazy. But I had no other choice but to get up. I couldn't back off half an hour before meeting Gregg and Mae. Before leaving the house, I went to the garage and found a hammer. Mae told me to bring something like a baseball bat, so why not.

Gregg and Mae greeted me outside the Snack Falcon. "So, what are we gonna do? Any plans? Wait- we aren't gonna murder someone, right..?" I asked as I saw the sharp, shimmery dagger he held.. Gregg started laughing. "No! There's an old train by the train station. No one uses it anymore. We'll break in there. Maybe steal something. Just for fun." Mae smirked. I shrugged and we started heading down to the train-station, suddenly way more unsure of it than before.

I had not been to the train station yet, so I let Mae and Gregg lead the way. On an old railway that wasn't leading anywhere, the railway just ended, a train stood. It looked like it hadn't been used for really long since both rust and vines covered it. "How do we get in?" Gregg said. He pulled out dagger from his pocket, which made me twitch in fear. It was really sudden and I wasn't expecting it. "I can.. break a window, maybe.. Yea I can." I argued with myself. "You rule, Jannie!" Gregg cheered as I slammed the hammer against a window, breaking it. We had to watch our paws to not step on glass, but we managed to climb into the train. "Wow." Mae spoke. Lanterns that seemed to be made of pure gold hung on the walls and the inside of the train seemed to be in a way better condition than the outside. "I don't know why, but this is so cool." I chuckled.

"Gregg! Look out!" Mae suddenly yelled. I turned around to see Gregg laying on the floor, with one of the lanterns in a tight grip. "I got it off! I got it off!" He yelled, laughing like an idiot. I rolled my eyes. "What was that for?". "No idea." Gregg got up and took a closer look at the lantern. Suddenly, the sound of a car screeching to a stop was heard outside. We looked out the window to see a police car, and some police officers come right towards the train. "Shit! Run!" I whispered. "Where? We're trapped!" Gregg whimpered. With my hammer raised, I broke another window on the back of the train.

We all let out sighs in relief as we, after a long sprint, realized we got away.
