The raccoon started playing loud techno-music on the CD-player and suddenly, Gregg grabbed my wrist and pulled me out on the field next to the campfire, which had now became a dancefloor. "Lets dance!" He exclaimed. He started to spin me around, until we got so dizzy that we stumbled and fell. Both of us laughed. I got up and reached my hand down to help Gregg up. I saw in the corner of my vision how Mae tried to get Angus to dance, while Bea talked to the raccoon.

We danced for hours, and so did everybody else. The moonlight lit up the forest with a shaded white light and the forest looked almost dark blue around us. I couldn't take my focus off of Gregg for more than a minute. He was really speeded and barely stood on the same spot for more than 4 seconds. It was really fun to dance with him. But all of a sudden, I tripped on something and would've fallen, if Gregg wasn't there to catch me. We caught eye contact and it felt like a light was switched on inside of me. I hadn't realized it before, but Gregg was overwhelmingly cute. I got interrupted in my thoughts by Bea talking to us. "Guys, everyone left the "dancefloor" now. Its just you left. Come on, we can go and do something else." She said. I looked around and noticed that the music was still playing but no one except for me and Gregg was dancing. "Yea, sure." I said stiffily and started walking over to Mae. Gregg ran up to me. "That was really fun. Parties around here usually isn't this fun and boosted. Thanks for making this night one of the best ones in a while!" He smiled. I returned it. "I'm the one who should say thanks. If it wasn't for you, I would've been standing in a corner being bored all night." I replied. Gregg smiled wider and then headed over to Angus.

"Enjoying the night so far?" Mae asked. I nodded enthustiastically. "I really do. What about you?" I said. She shrugged. "I don't really know. I had no one to dance with before." She sighed. I gave her a pet on the shoulder. "Sorry to hear..". Mae didn't seem to be an emotional person who talked much. She flickered her glance from me, to Gregg, and back to me. "I saw you and Gregg before. You really enjoyed the dance with him, huh? I don't want to break it to you but.. He's together with Angus. Just wanted to tell you so you don't get your hopes up on him." She continued. I felt a weight land on my shoulders. "Oh. Thanks for telling me, Mae." I said and walked off, into the forest.

"Where are you going?" Bea questioned as I quietly made my way past her in hope to not get noticed. "I have no idea. I'll see where my fox paws take me."
