Mae went home, and me and Gregg decided to go to the pizzeria to get something to eat. I was a little bit shook up after the police nearly found us, and I wanted to talk to Gregg about it. The last thing I wanted was for him and Mae to get in trouble. "I can't believe that we actually made it away from the train in time.." I started. "I know. That was a close call. Never happened before." He scratched the back of his head and gave me an excusing glance. "Sorry for almost getting you in trouble." He said. "Its alright." I responded. We ate our food in silence after that. It seemed to be one of the first times that Gregg doesn't have anything to say.
Gregg walked me home and all of a sudden we had some things to talk about. We told stories about our childhood and stuff. I looked around on the environment. The leaves hade a more yellow tone than the day before. Autumn was coming. But it was still summer, and the sun were already risen. "Summer is the season where the sun never sleeps." Gregg said. "Yea. Except for a few hours when the moon is awake instead." I picked up my camera and took a picture of the sky. "Like it was on the party.." Gregg smiled. "Exactly.." I sighed. "Is something wrong?" He asked. "Just.. ugh, it's nothing." I forced a smile. "I'm sorry to bring it up, but it was just something that made me really happy. Its been much going on lately. Me and Angus were fighting, but we still had to pretend that everything was good so nothing would change in our little gang. I've stayed at a friends house just to stay away. When we started fighting, the last thing Angus said before I ran off was 'I don't want you around here for a while.'. Since I met you, those things has been affecting me less. I don't know why, its just something about you. Ah, what am I even saying, I'm just blurting out random crap.. I'm sorry" Gregg swallowed. I was taken back by what he told me. I didn't know what to say. Instead, he kept talking. "I'm always counted as the cheerful one that makes others happy. Bea once told me that its my purpose. But when I need someone who can make me happy, no one cares. Its like everyone has forgot that I have feelings as well." He added. We stopped walking. I hugged him. "It'll be alright." I said, and after a while, he hugged back.
