Everyone in the castle was at the funeral including the families and friends of the guards. The Queen read her speeches and so did some other people who were close to Logan and Ivo.
Although Crimson didn't know them, she felt extremely disappointed and frankly quite scared that it had just been her second day and someone had already died. She needed to become stronger so that she could fight with the other warriors and magical beings to prevent stuff like this from happening.
Deeja and Crimson walked off back to the castle where they had their breakfast then began training . Soon she would meet with the Mage again as well.
Every time she thought about her magic, that prophecy would spring up in her head;
'When the Gods shone the Crimson light, and when evil looms she'll be the one to fight.' It made her feel like if she did anything wrong she could destroy everything and everyone. It made her feel so vulnerable.~
"Alright Crimson, your next task is to grow all types of plants on this big empty field." The Mage requested. Hunter was right next to her, she didn't know why but she looked over to him as if she needed some type of support and so he gave her a slight nod.
She looked back at the bright grass that still looked moist from last night's rain but ripe with life and colour. Crimson took a deep breath then focused her hands towards the field.
"Don't fail me nature" she whispered to herself "Come on Crimson, you can do it feel the harmony of nature and the wonderful Earth." she added ever so quietly.
She closed her eyes inhaled again then opened her eyes and saw shiny green waves pouring from her shaking hands and everywhere plants began to grow and expand. Crimson beamed with pride and more amazing things appeared, she began growing lush flowers and hulking trees. Suddenly one of the roots became too long and wrapped its self around Hunter and raised him from the ground. The tree was so tightly intwined around him, it almost looked as if it were hugging him.
"Get off me" He Shouted.
"Oh come on Hunter, it only wants a hug" Crimson teased and she could have sworn she heard the Mage laugh a little too.
"I swear Crimson if you don't make it let go of me, I'm going to make your life a living hell!" He threatened but she still saw a hint of laughter in his eyes.
"You're a guard Hunter yet you don't know how to get rid of a little tree root." She giggled.
"Its...suffocating...me." He squelched
"Alright, alright" she made the tree root loosen then Hunter cut it off with his sword.
"You sure know how to piss me off Crimson." He glared at her then dusted his uniform and stood next to her again.
"Well done dear. You've done it, however this is only the basics soon you'll be able to wield the nature into whatever you please." The mage Said. "But right now I have a meeting with the Queen. Have a good day miss Waldorf" he smiled then went off.
"Impressive isn't it?" Crimson boasted
"Whatever don't get too cocky Tree princess" he snorted.
"You're never to call me that again or I'll get the roots on you again." she huffed
"Tree princess." He mumbled again under his breath.
"I heard that." She sent a root after him again but he fought it this time and cut it down and every other one she threw at him.
"Now that's impressive" he smirked, she rolled her eyes at him. "You haven't told me what kind of magic you have yet"
He sighed then took off one of his gloves, Crimson rose an eyebrow. Then he touched the tree and it began to die and all its leaves shrivelled up and fell, soon all the plants Crimson had grown, died. She gasped, "Stop it! Stop it Hunter your killing everything!"
He lifted his hand away from the tree and sadness grew in his eyes. "That's my magic" He said glumly.
"What kind of magic is that." She shouted
"It's a burden that's what it is."
"What do you mean?" Her tone softened again.
"When I was young, my magic began to grow stronger but I wasn't aware at the time and when I hugged my little brother, I-I killed him." He Explained as he put his glove back on.
"What happened after that?"
"My parents kicked my out and said I was too dangerous to be around them so I was never allowed to return, but the Queen found me and took me in where she raised and trained me. I became her guard a few years ago." Admitted Hunter.
"I'm so sorry, have you at least tried to find and talk to your parents, your still their son after all."
"I'm never allowed back there and besides I don't know where they are anymore they moved away."
