All the guards had drawn their swords and were heading out of the Throne room.
"Ok everyone separate and find out what happened." Cassava ordered. Then she took The Queen somewhere safe.
Crimson was already running through the halls asking people where the scream came from. They all said the East Wing.
She flung every door open till she saw a girl that had bleed through her eye sockets and mouth, laying on the ground. A group of guards appeared after. "She's been bitten by a Hell-stinger." Crimson gasped, breathing frantically as panic washed over her.
"That means one hell-stinger escaped or more then one!" A guard panted. Another guard searched the body. And found the hell-stinger dead next to the girl, she was a fairy of some kind, her wings were a shiny purple but were coated with red and black and her ears were pointed but full of blood. She was destroyed inside and out.
Cassava arrived then gasped. "Keelah!" She screamed then dropped to her knees beside the girl. How could she tell who that was they were so disfigured it was petrifying.
Crimson felt a hand on her shoulder, she turned and saw Deeja crying. "We didn't save everyone." She muttered then hugged her tightly.
Cassava was weeping as she held Keelah's limp hand. It was a small room but many people were inside it so everyone was huddled together. Crimson made her way out with Deeja who was also still weeping. "Keelah was my friend!" Her feral eyes were blurred with salty tears forming rapidly. "I'm truly sorry." Crimson said.
Deeja wiped away her tears and then her sadness turned into rage. She grabbed Crimsons arm and ran through the halls. "Where are we going." Crimson asked as she sprinted to keep up with Deeja.
"You'll see." She smiled evilly. That could only mean a bad thing was going to happen. They slowed down as they reached the torture chamber. Crimson eyes widened with fear and confusion.
They entered the room and Deeja kept walking to a door inside the scarring chamber. She twisted the door handle and opened the door to a room that smelled so bad, Crimson puked. Suddenly she looked up and saw at least 1,000 dead bodies. "Deeja?" Crimson's tone was shaky.
"I'll be a minute you can wait outside if you want." She shrugged then went hunting into the dead bodies.
Crimson waited and waited until Deeja came out looking all dirty and smelling revolting but she was grinning wickedly. In her hands she was holding Noelani's head. The feline shut the door and walked to the middle of the room.
"This is all your fault, you selfish bitch!" She screamed as she threw the head onto the ground and sprang her claws out. Deeja began mutilating the frozen face. Crimson puked again. "Deeja stop it! She's already dead!" But she didn't stop and after she was happy with the result her nails made. She picked it up then opened the door to dead corpses again and threw it in.
"Let's go." She smiled as she wiped her hands onto her clothes and walked out. What was wrong with these people? Crimson thought over and over again.

Crimson felt so sick she decided she couldn't train today. And she kept seeing the image of Deeja's sinister smile when she was scratching at Noelani's face. Crimson had already thrown up 4 more times when she reached her room. But she still wondered what they were doing now because of Keelah. Poor Cassava, she looked mortified when she found her friend dead on the ground.
The only good thing that came out of today was that Crimson had found the answers to some of her questions. However, she still had other questions that needed answering.
She sat in her bed covered by thick, warm duvets, playing with her soft brunette hair when there was another knock at the door. "Come in." She bellowed hoarsely.
The door creaked open and she saw Hunter. "I was wondering why you didn't show up for training but Deeja told me you were to busy puking your guts out." He Smiled as he shut the door behind him.
"Today hasn't been very-pleasant. Shall I say." She smiled back. He sat up onto her bed.
"Would you like some company?"
"Don't you have a job."
"The Queen is in a meeting with the fairies of Kimmel. And other guards took up my post. So no I'm free."
"Be careful I might get sick on you."
"That's ok I've had worse thrown at me."
"Like what?"
"You wouldn't like to know."
"I think your right." She laughed.
Even though today had been all sorts of wrong, Hunter still made her feel better. Gods he was making it hard for her not to like him. But she kept reminding her self that it could never happen.
