They were grinning at each other. "It's not very nice when there's a collar around your neck is it? It's not very nice when you feel trapped." She stroked his neck gently, the air got clogged up in Jermine's throat.
One of his hands had found their way around her waist. He was in no place to object. With the other hand Jermine reached out to touch one of her white streaks that made her look even more irresistible, when suddenly the door opened. Deeja rolled off. Damn it. God damn it.
A guard had entered their cell, "What do you think your doing?" He was fae and armed and brutal. Jermine had shifted into the fae species multiple times and seen them in wars and battles, they were menacing.
"Well if your going to trap me here you might as well let me have some fun." Deeja spoke with such confidence. It took him a second to process those words. Fun.
He bit the inside of his cheek to hold in the laugh that threatened to blast out of his mouth. If he wasn't careful, the guard would have his head served on a platter to the emperor. "No, you will do no such thing. If anything like this happens again you two will be separated." The guard bellowed.
"You should really lighten up a bit, you know, have some fun." Her flirtatious tone sent Jermine over the edge.
"Stay back." The fae-guard warned as Deeja glided closer. Then before Jermine could process anything that was happening a vine ripped through the concrete and then reached for the guard and snapped his neck. He only knew one girl who could do that so far. Crimson.
He knew Deeja realized it too as she looked at him and beamed with happiness this time. Not hunger, not death but pure happiness. He mouthed, I told you. With a wink.
Guards started flooding in from all around and the cell door was still open. Oh his friends were smart. His friends.

Crimson, Darya, Hunter and Brice had not even planned this properly. Crimson had said let's wing it five times and Brice was not comforted, actually he grew less confident the more she said it but he went along. These people were crazy. First they sneak into a hugely celebrated event to take ONE person and they had lied and schemed their way through it all. And now they were going to break two people out from the same palace that he knew inside out and knew was heavily guarded but still did not want to return. His father was not his father it was a monster in there and he was sure of it.This group of people were smart and cunning but also quite frankly, stupid but he was going to help them like he promised Darya.
Brice had led them through the underground passageway he had taken Darya through the night before. Guards were sprinkled all over the palace, wherever they turned at least one guard would be there. But...but they killed them all in their horrible ways...they had killed them. He knew Crimson was finding it just as hard because she winced at every creature or human she slaughtered. She was trying to get used to it like he was so he helped kill some of his own loyal guards.
Finally Brice led them to the prison cells where they saw a fae guard open the cell and start shouting then, they heard a muffled playful voice then, Crimson had shot a vine through the ground and snapped his neck. She grimaced and before they knew it, guards from every inch of the palace rounded up to greet them with not so welcoming smiles.

Crimson had never killed so many people, hell she had never killed at all till today. And today she was going to unleash what she had been practicing whilst they had travelled. Today and any day, she remembered nature was on her side.
She closed her eyes and hummed a tune whilst Hunter killed any guard who tried to attack her, everyone was killing. But she kept calm and not a heartbeat longer; howls, tweets, roars, squawks, growls and so many other animals shouted as they bolted in to defend her side. Crimson had summoned every animal she could speak to and they all had that same look she usually saw in Deeja's eyes, hunger. Hunger for death.
The guards began fighting the animals who ripped them to pieces or pecked out their eyes.
Hunter threw Jermine a sword as he and Deeja made their way across. "It's nice to see you again." Deeja said as her claws sparked out. "I didn't get a good meal, this should be fun and delicious." She flashed her fangs then joined the animals."Oh I've missed her." Crimson smirked then joined the battle.
