The group and I spotted both Loki and Balder and ran over towards them. "Baru-baru, Loki-loki!" Apollon called out. Loki looked over towards us with an expression of panic.
"Stay back!" Loki yelled stopping all of us in our tracks. At that very moment, Balder began to glow and this gush of wind blew everyone back.
"Balder!" Loki shouted trying to get close to Balder but was forced back with intense force. Loki winced in pain as Balder floated up into the air. "Balder!" I ran over to Loki.
"Loki, are you alright?" I asked looking at my lover with both a concerned and terrified expression.
"I'm fine, but I need to save him," he answered looking over towards the others. "I'm gonna need all of your help," The others gave him a nod. As this is happening Balder is forming a large ball and trapping himself inside it. Everyone looks up for a moment then looks back towards Loki.
"Of course we'll help. Baru-baru is our friend too, " Apollon said.
"That's right. Balder is a friend to all of us, right brother?" Takeru stepped in making the last part a question for Tsukito, which answered with a nod and a small yes. Everyone else also gave a nod in response. With all that, all the gods transformed into their god forms. I watched them in awe before Loki brought me into his arms.
"Susaki. I want you to get as far away from here as you can. I can't risk you getting hurt," he said in a serious tone. I tried to argue back but he shushed me with a short kiss.
"I'll take her somewhere safe and come back to help," Apollon said calling his pegasus. I gave Loki a tight hug before following Apollon onto his pegasus.
"Please be careful, all of you?" I begged. They all gave me a nod and floated up into the air. Apollon's pegasus lifted u into the air and began moving in the opposite direction as everyone else. In the distance, I could hear explosions. I started to tremble in fear. Apollon must have noticed because he spoke to me in a soft reassuring voice.
"Everything's going to be okay, Susaki chan. Balder and everyone else are going to be just fine, I promise," I nod my head and try to calm myself down. Soon we reach our destination and I get off the pegasus. "I'll be back with everyone once things are over," Apollon said before being lifted into the air again and riding his pegasus to fight alongside everyone else.
I couldn't just stand there so I ran over towards Zeus's room and barged in. "Zeus sama!" I cried.
"Yes, I am already aware of what's going on Miss Neku," he said calmly. I looked at him bewilderedly.
"And you're just gonna sit here and do nothing about it?! You're not even gonna try to help?!" I questioned slightly raising my voice.
"They are gods. They are more than capable to handle this without my help," he stated. This made my blood anger.
"You dare claim they're the ones who need to understand human ways but really it's you who has no idea how humans are! Humans don't care how capable a person is, if someone needs help then we help them!" With that, I ran out the room leaving a shocked Zeus and made my way outside to see that the once bright blue sky was now dark. 'I have to help somehow. I can't just stand here and do nothing!'
