A Twist of Fate (Kamigami No Asobi)

Chapter 12

"I'm a demi-goddess?" I asked still completely taken back. "I-I guess that would explain why I've never met my actual parents before," Everyone turned towards me with wide eyes.

"If you never met your parents, then who raised you?" Apollon asked. I looked down and frowned while shuffling my feet. 'Well, They were bound to find out at some point,' I said in my head as I took a deep breath.

"I grew up in the foster system. My foster parents were cruel and never truly cared about me. They only showed interest me in once they lost most of their wealth and needed to use me for their money. They had set up an arranged marriage where I was to marry the son of Japan's wealthiest family. I tried to reason with them but they refused me every time so  I ran away. In fact, the night I ran away was the same night Zeus brought me here," I explained chuckling softly at the end.

"Those people better hope they don't go near water," Takeru grumbled angerly. I sweatdropped and nervously laughed.

"I-it's in the past now. No need to get worked up by it," I reasoned. "Anyways since I'm here I'm sure they are both publically humiliated and have lost everything they had,"

"Even if this wasn't the case, now that we know you're a demi-god, you are to stay where all of us gods are. You won't have to return to the human world unless you want to," Zeus stated. I turned towards him and gave him a warm smile. 

"Thank you, Zeus. I think I would love to stay with all of you," Warm and comforting arms wrapped around my waist.

"That makes me happy to hear, my kitten," Loki said kisses the back of my head. I giggled and leaned closer to him.

"Now what we have to do is plan your guy's wedding!" Apollon cheered. My face blew up like a cherry.

"W-we-wed-wedding!?" I squeaked stuttering like crazy.  Loki chuckled and picked me up bridal style. 

"Well of course. We are lovers, right? So why not have a wedding? Susaki Neku, I love you and I have loved you ever since the very moment I laid my eyes on you. I  want to spend my immortal life with you. Please be my wife?" Loki proposed looking into my eyes. His eyes were filled with pure love and longing. I tears swelled in my eyes as I wrapped my arms around his neck and nuzzled against his chest.

"Yes!" I sobbed happily. Everyone clapped and cheered.

"Alright, so let's get to planning that precious wedding!" Apollon beamed.

"I'll keep all the ideas organized," Tsukito said, taking out his notepad. 

"We'll handle all the planning while you two just relax," Takeru told Loki and me with a small smile. I lift my head up and smile brightly at them.

"Thank you all so much!"

Hey, Minna-san! I know this chapter wasn't all that long but I think it's really cute. I mean Susaki and Loki are gonna get married (｡♥‿♥｡)!
