You trod on my heart as if it were a piece of litter,
The very same heart you cast your nefarious spell upon.
Posed as a benevolent soul yet,
Weaved your way like a genie and proved even more toxic than a bottle of whisky.
Your bold-faced lies draped like cotton candy,
So soft and beckoning, had me fooled.
Thinking 'twas my tonic to survive turns out you had me tangled to no end.
I applaud your devil's play, for you proved to be a master of disguise.
But now that your facade slowly shrinks away,
Your true face brought to light will have me running at first sight.
