My Heart

My heart is young and restless,
Over the top and relentless.
I have sailed tempest seas because of it,
Hoping i could get a glimpse of every beat, every pump, every stroke.
My heart is free and wild,
For it sways to the wind in its own comfort,
Love is a drug that has turned my heart prisoner countless times,
With a sigh, i keep saying i will follow logic but my heart has a mind of its own
Even when logic says "let us forget" there i stand defenceless to plead guilty.
