"Anna, do I have to? I really don't want to."
"Yes you have to! I love this band so much... please El."
"Urgh fine."
Hi. My name is Eleanor Harris, but my friends often call me El. I'm your average teenage girl to be honest... eats loads, always on twitter and tumblr, doesn't really have many friends... yeah that's me. Except my best friend Anna is almost the opposite. She is absolutely mad about boybands and this new one called The Vamps. I love Anna to pieces but she has forced me to go with her to hunt them down today. Yay.
So we were off. Anna kept flapping about making sure she looked okay and she had everything she needed whereas I just shoved my trusty Doc Marten's on and picked up my ruck sack. It was on the walk into town when Anna got out her phone and started scrolling through photos.
"Right El, I need you to know what the boys look like, so you can recognise them and help me meet them okay?" I roll my eyes at her but lean closer to see the images.
"This is Tristan, the tallest and the drummer, he also lives in the same place that you go to college, so we'll talk about that later." I looked down to see a tall blonde haired boy on her phone screen before it changed to a boy who looked slightly smaller, brown tousled hair and a big smile.
"This is Brad... my favourite, but you already knew that. And this is Connor," She scrolled to a photo of another boy, this one with blond hair with slight brown highlights and bracelets covering his arms, "And finally James." She landed on a final image of a muscular, tall, gorgeous guy. Yes I admit he was really good looking but I knew he would be. Anna always goes on about how amazing they are so yeah... I knew.
"Right you ready to go?" She smiles at me and nudges my arm.
"Ready as I'll ever be." I shrugged following her into the busy streets of Bournemouth.
A few hours later we still hadn't found this boyband. I gave up ages ago. Well, to be honest I never really tried. As much as I loved Anna I knew this wouldn't happen so I just followed her as she flinched whenever she saw a guy who looked in anyway similar to her four 'idols'.
"I'm bored, can we go now?" I lean against the window of Topshop as Anna peers inside.
"No! Please El. I'll just pop in here, I know how the boys often come to Topman." She disappears inside and I just turn the corner and start strolling down the street.
Getting my phone out of my pocket, I click onto twitter and scroll through my timeline until something or someone collides with me.. very forcefully, making my phone go flying out of my hand and me falling to the ground.
"Ouch! Watch where you're going!" I shove the body of the unknown person off me and rub my head where I hit it.
"Watch where you're going more like! I almost knocked you over!" A young boy with green-bluey eyes and a tall quiff of hair stands up and brushes himself off.
"Well maybe you wouldn't have knocked my over if you were looking where you were going." I also stand up, rubbing the dirt off my clothes.
"Well I'm sorry for having fun." He replies sarcastically, putting his foot on his skateboard and crossing his arms. I glare up at him. As you can tell I don't like a lot of people.
"Yeah right." I cross my arms and finally take in the boy.
His hair stood tall upon his head, where a pair of sunglasses also rested. His muscular arms hung by his side where his skateboard was clutched in one huge hand. He was clad in a white tee-shirt, ripped skinny jeans and converse. I recognised him. Of course! The guy from the band that Anna liked... whatever they were called.
