Look at this edit I made! Hello, everyone, I finally finished writing this chapter, sorry it's taken this long to update the story. I won't try to make excuses, though, I did fight with a recent bout with a bad cold. Oh, I've got a bit of exciting news at the end of the chapter, I mean, for me... But still, I want to share.
I want to apologize to everyone, this chapter is kinda angsty at the end, I hope everyone will like it.
Logan had been sitting at his desk in his room, it was much too quiet, he had expected Roman and Virgil to be quietly watching a Disney movie, as it was their nightly routine, but the silence from Patton's room was disconcerting. Logan felt compelled to check in on his chipper chap.
Logan walked into the hallway and up to the charmingly decorated, homey, varnish-chipped, wooden door. He saw the sparkly sign that read: Patton. Scattered around on the outside of the door are child-like drawings about Patton and his family, it made Logan unconsciously smile.
Logan knocked on the door to the jingle of shave and a haircut, to attempt to make his friend aware of his prescience. He paused briefly to listen and see if Patton had heard him. He heard nothing and naturally he began to become worried for his friend.
Logan walked into the room and instantly noticed the dishevelment of what is normally, what the others would call, 'nostalgia paradise'. This was genuinely worrisome, something has happened to Patton. Logan felt the dark sticky pit in his heart open even wider, his stomach felt as if it were eating itself from the inside out.
He surveyed the room, noticing no physical damage, but he still felt uneasy with the room in this state. Logan decided to tidy up a bit to try and find some clues about the whereabouts of his good friend.
Logan picked up the sheets off of the floor and placed them on Patton's bed. He was about to move something else when he had noticed a book poking its way out from underneath the mattress, he pulled it out and found the shabby, old book.
This was a book he had never seen before, he was sure he had seen every book in the mindscape, but he must have been wrong. Logan was thoroughly confused, where did this book come from? He was sure he had seen every book Thomas had in his mind. Does this mean there is a secret library? If Logan weren't so worried about Patton, he would be intrigued about the concept of a secret library.
He was curious, so he looked over the spine and cover of the book. It's a book called Intruders in the Mindspace: A Guide. Logan looked at the edges of the book and noticed a very Patton-esque bookmark, it was glittery and was everything Logan loves about Patton.
Logan put the bookmark aside for now and looked over the chapter that had been marked. The title of the chapter was Chapter 32: The Nothing.
Logan looked over the chapter gleaning all of the information he could about The Nothing. The Nothing was a creature that entered into a host body and it attempts to break the human down from the inside out.
This was bad news for Thomas and for the rest of the sides, he had to tell Roman and Virgil.
Logan began to rush out of the room before he felt something hard bash into the back of his skull and the world went black.

Roman stretched his arm out and wrapped it around Virgil, his boyfriend. He was very comfortable. He even began to feel sleepy.
Virgil is very comfortable and warm, almost like a fuzzy blanket. Roman felt tired and cozy, he felt as if the sandman was attempting to make him sleep for thousands of years, he yawned and felt sleep take him on a journey.
~
Roman awoke on the couch with the distinct feeling he was forgetting something, or someone. Oh well, he thought as he left the couch to head to the kitchen. Virgil and Logan were sitting at the table each with a bowl of cereal, he shrugged and got himself a bowl of his favorite cereal.
The three sides sat in silence awkwardly eating the cold soggy cereal. This felt wrong for some reason, but this was the normal morning for all three of the sides.
Virgil spoke up, which was out of the normal. "Hey, guys, where's Patton? Doesn't Patton usually have breakfast with us?"
Roman and Logan exchanged a look of confusion, "who is Patton?" Roman and Logan asked slowly trying to understand the situation.
"Patton is our friend, he's Thomas's sense of morality," Virgil tried desperately to get those two to remember. Virgil was visibly confused which made Logan very confused as well.
Logan felt a darkness spread over his heart and his stomach twisted so painfully that he wasn't hungry anymore. "Patton..." Logan whispered staring at the bowl of cereal.
Roman shrugged and kept eating his cereal, but he felt a nagging feeling in the back of his head that he knew what Virgil was talking about, but whatever he was trying to remember was just so fuzzy that he couldn't understand what he was trying to remember.
"AnXiEtY, who are you talking about?" Roman asked curiously.
Virgil was taken aback, Roman, his boyfriend, no longer was saying his name, or any of his pet names? "Roman, sweetheart?"
Roman looked in the distance and got up and left from the table while swaying. Virgil looked at the space left behind where Roman once was. Virgil felt his eyes water and he felt tears begin to fall down his cheeks. Virgil got up from the table and walked to his room while silently sobbing.
Virgil threw himself on the bed while tears washed over his entire face.
Roman on the other hand was remembering everything that he had confusingly forgotten.
Guys, I auditioned for a part in a really cool improvisational show called Awesome 80s Prom and got the part of the nerdy girl and the director said we both should audition for the improv troupe, it was awesome, especially since I'm not sure the director likes me as a person. Oh yeah, and since I've been sick all week, apparently my theatre friends were all worried about me and it makes me overwhelmingly happy that they care as much as they do.
Also, I started writing a fun little Q&A book with all of the sides, or at least the way they appear in my stories, I hope you all enjoy it and continue asking questions over there that the sides will answer.
