Hey everyone, sorry this has taken like a million years. Here I am back at it with an update, let me know if you think this is alright, I haven't been feeling up to writing a ton and this may not be the best of quality. I'm a bit unsure if this is up to par... We're getting close to the confrontation, I'm excited. Oh, if you want, I can update you on a few things: I've been chatting with a mutual here on tumblr, I've been keeping up with youtube drama, I've had an unsuccessful job interview, and been obsessed with FNAF lore again. I'll link a song that I want to share, again. (There may be swearing in the video, if that makes you uncomfortable, I apologize. This is a song from one of my favorite youtubers.)
Roman was breathing quickly, attempting to calm his heartbeat, it was pounding faster than normal and he was having a hard time making sense of what was happening, he wasn't meant to forget about someone as important as his good friend, Patton, he had even promised Patton something, something that he was meant to show Logan. That could wait briefly, he had to reconcile with his Virgil, his bundle of moonlight.
Virgil was bundled in his warm cocoon of blankets, he was inadvertently giving off a wave of anxiety, it was kind of his thing. Roman knocked on the door, Virgil was startled and he stayed quiet. Roman called through the door softly, attempting to calm his boyfriend from the other side of the door. "Virgil, I just want to talk, I'm-I'm sorry."
Virgil slowly walked up to the door pulling his hoodie over his unconfident frame. He tugged to keep the hoodie covering his hands and any venerable part of himself. He slowly moved closer to the door and slightly opened it. He noticed that Roman was idling near the door with a hollow look on his face.
Roman and Virgil spent time reconnecting. Roman told Virgil what he was meant to tell Logan, he couldn't bring himself to talk to Logan. Roman felt he had royally screwed up, he felt unworthy to talk to his friend. Roman ended up wallowing in his room feeling like he had failed everyone.
Virgil made his way, slowly, to Logan's room. Virgil had known about the library for a long time now, he felt special when Patton had chosen to give him a tour of it. It made him feel like family and the emptiness that he normally felt was replaced with a tight happiness in his chest.

Logan rubbed his head, he felt a bump on the back. He felt as if he were forgetting something. He suddenly felt as if he were swimming in darkness and then he felt his head hit the ground.
~
Virgil knocked on the door to Logan's room and waited for his brilliant bud to answer. Logan answered within five seconds. Virgil began a shaky explanation about the library. Virgil and Logan began their trek.
Logan was expressing wonder that there was a secret library. Something began to ring in his head about this library though, he and Virgil seemed to just appear in the library, something was wrong, this had to be a dream. Logan squeezed his eyes shut, tightly. He then opened them quickly. Logan opened his eyes and saw that he was still in the library with Virgil, they left and headed their separate ways.
Logan went into Patton's room and searched for the book and found it where it must have fallen. This affirmed his suspicions, he has to talk to Thomas. He set the book down and took in some breaths trying to calm his anger.
On a mission, he sunk down to visit Thomas. Logan reappeared in Patton's normal spot which seemed to surprise the two other sides and Thomas himself, they seemed to be discussing Thomas's options via clothing. This was obviously more important than clothes.
"Thomas, this is very important, could your dilemma wait a few precious moments?" Logan asked frankly.
Thomas looked at Logan concernedly, then nodded slowly and surely. Virgil and Roman looked pained, as if they already knew the topic of his appearance, especially in Patton's corner.
"You are in danger," Logan began. "There is a creature called 'The Nothing' invading the mind palace and it has taken Patton hostage."
Roman looked extremely panicked, this was something he seemed to not have anticipated. "Thomas, I apologize, but we must take our leave, I suggest the one on the left, it brings out your eyes."
Virgil seemed to be confused, but he nodded in agreement with Roman's statement and left as quickly as Roman had. Logan followed the two quickly and left a concerned Thomas in his wake.
When Logan had returned, it was if he were seeing a completely different Roman, this Roman was completely serious and seemingly had no trace of creativity left. This Roman was completely in defense mode, it was if he had some interior part of him that was meant to protect Thomas and was in some ways only for that purpose.
"We have to be ready to attack, having dealt with this foe before, I can assure you that we can defeat this creature." Roman assured the two others.
Logan frowned, he wasn't sure of this statement. He was very nervous about this. Logan began spacing out, until he realized that there was something he had to use to fight 'The Nothing'.

Logan went to the common room and searched for any trace of Negative energy in the common area, he found trace amounts in the area, he followed that and came to a small dank doorway, it seemed to enlargen and stretch in a weird, contortionist-type movement. Logan called out to the others and only then realized that the others were close behind him.
The three of them rushed in together, attempting to be the one to rescue their precious Patton pal. The doorway opened up to a dark, damp cave. The three sides cautiously walked in and then scanned their surroundings attempting to find traces of their captured comrade.
They searched high and low for any signs of their friend in the cave. Virgil clung to Roman's arm, trying to calm his anxiousness, which helped marginally, considering Roman was terrified as well. The darkness held many terrifying thoughts, that possibly they may be too late, or that something worse lurks in the dark, even worse than what their fear could create.
Virgil hoped that they could find Patton swiftly and get away as quickly as possible. The trio searched for what seemed like hours and they seemed to not be making any progress.
Hello again!!! Oh just to remind the readers here, I have a separate book type thing that is really only a q&a answered by the characters of this very story, also I have a oneshot book, you may want to check out. This chapter is shorter than most, I just couldn't seem to make any of it any longer. Oh, just thought I'd ask, have you guys happened to notice that there haven't been any chapters involving Patton's point of view? And before this there had been alternating chapters between the two leads?
Hope you've enjoyed this.
