Crisis

Emi's perspective

I run home and bust into big sis's office, where Mina was doing her work. "Mina! Mina! It's big sis!" I cry and hug her, crying. "L-Lady Emi?! What is it?! Is something wrong?!" She asked in a panic. "I-I-It's big sis! She...She's..." I couldn't bring myself to say it, but by context, Mina took a guess. "Is she...dead...?" She asked. I nod my head while still in tears, and hug her again. A few hours later, Soleil and Luna came to deliver big sis's body to us. I just couldn't stop crying. I just wanted to hide myself away from the world. But I didn't, ask Toshiki came to see too, and offered a suggestion. "I have an idea on how to bring Nina back." He said aloud. "Really?! What is it?!" I asked. "It's a risky task, but I know it can be done." He says. "Tell us already, dammit!" Luna shouts. "Alright, don't rush me! It's called Soul Retrieval. It's a technique only a few ninja know today. But as I said before, it's risky. Only a few have ever succeeded." He says. "What happens if one fails?" Soleil asked. "They die." He says simply. "How does one fail?" Luna asked next. "The smallest noise could disturb the person using it, and they die of, usually, a heart attack." He says. "So it needs to be absolutely quiet with no sounds whatsoever? That impossible!" Soleil says. "It's not impossible, as some ninja have succeeded." He said. "But we don't know any ninja." I say. "...I do..." Soleil said quietly. "Really? Who?" I asked. "She's in Hyper Dimension. I think you know her too, Emi. I'm talking Azura." She says. "Azura? No, she isn't a ninja." I correct her. "That's what you think. I'm talking about her other form. Mukuro Heart." She tells us. "Really...? Woah..." I say, very impressed. "I'll go get her." Luna said, and ran off. "Be sure to hurry! Soul Retrieval only works until sunset!" Toshiki yelled.

As soon as Azura arrived, we told her the situation. "But, I've never done it before." She says. "Don't worry. Mukuro Heart will do it for you. Just let her do the work." Toshiki says to her. Azura nods, and transform to Mukuro Heart. "First off, I need quiet. So shut up." She said to us, and got down on her knees. But before she started, Midna casted some kind of spell and put them in a bubble. "With that, no sound will get in. So don't worry about the noise." She said. We all nod, and watch as Azura does her thing. After a few hand signs, she lifts her metal tail. We watch as she launches it into big sis's body. But there was no blood. It just...went in as if no damage was made.

Mukuro Heart's perspective

Now inside Nina's body, I look around. It was pitch black, with no light. No sound. I can't stay for long. I need to find Nina as soon as possible. I walk on, and a landscape started forming around me. It was Hyper Dimension, Leanbox. I heard a familiar sound. The sound of lightning. It was Brother. The two of them fighting. This is must part of a memory she's having before she passes on. I press on, and soon, a different area started materializing. It was...a lab? No. In the back of the room, I can see Nina and another man talking. It wasn't anyone I've met. I've never met this person. I get closer to the conversation, and hear what was happening. "Do you have any idea how dangerous your actions were?! Why would you steal from people?!" The older looking man yelled at a younger looking Nina. "I-I'm sorry... I didn't-" "You didn't mean to? I've heard that too many times to count! Stealing is not something that can be done by accident!" The male interrupted her. Little Nina winced, and start crying. "I'm sorry big brother! I'm sorry!" She cried. "I won't steal again! I swear!" She continues. "Sorry won't cut it this time. Return the stolen items, then sit in the corner, thinking about what you did. I have a mission to do." He said, and left the room. Time seemed to accelerate, as it was now midnight. The older sister never returned to Lowee. And Nina was just left there. In the corner, crying her little eyes out, wishing for her big brother to come home. But he never did. I look over to my left, and see the current version of Nina standing there, staring. "He never came back after that day... I never saw him again... I still don't know what happened to him..." Nina spoke to me. "I see. I'm sorry to hear that." I said back. "I had to grow up fast, and once it was time to take over, I did. I was always cold and distant after that time. I loved my brother. So I started to fear that if I got too close to people, it'll make it harder to say goodbye." She said. "I'm not ready to die yet... I have to be the older sibling I never had, and care for Emi. And I have Kon too. I can't die on her yet. I...I haven't even told her how I feel yet." She continued. I nod, and reach my hand out. She looks at me, tears in her eyes, and takes my outstretched hand.

Emi's perspective

It's been three hours since Azura went in there, and she still hasn't come back. After I beat Toshiki at chess again, I hear breathing, and look over to see Azura collapsed. "Azura!" I scream, and run over to make sure she's okay. Luckily, it was just exhaustion, and she wasn't dead. I look over to where big sis's body should be, but it wasn't. I look around the room, and see her standing by the window. She looks over to me, and smiles. "C'mere." Were the only words she said to me. I could tears start to well up in my eyes again, and run over to hug her.
