Nina's perspective
I walk to Nanu's house, in Mega Dimension, only to find that he wasn't there. Mecha told me he went to see a friend, so I decided to not get into his personal life. I went to Leanbox next to ask Azura if she knew anything. Of course, no luck. But as I made my way to Aster, I learned that Alice had met Zoa before. Once I get there, I land on the balcony and shout. "Hey Alice!!! You home!!?" I asked loudly. "Yeah!! I'm here!!" She replied, just as loudly. Once she entered, I can see she grew out her hair, and braided it. It honestly looked good on her. Once I explained the situation, she was shocked to learn about what happened. "That can't be right. Zoa's a really nice guy." She said. "Nice? He killed me!" I tell her again. "I heard you, but it just doesn't add up. I've known him for a while now, and know he would never do that." She said. "I'll trying talking to him." She suggested. "No need. I'm gonna talk to him." I say. "Why do I get the feeling that's a bad idea..." Alice wondered, but didn't talk back. "Okay, sure. Go ahead." I stand up, and turn to leave, but Alice stops me for a moment. "Hold up Nina. I have a question." She said. "Yeah? What is it?" I asked. "I was wondering how you found the Fujin Yumi. Was it something important?" She asked. I look down at my bow, the Fujin Yumi. "It used to be my big brother's bow." I told her. "Really? Is he-" "No. he disappeared one night, and never came back. When I went out looking for him, this was all I found." I told her. "Oh... Sorry for asking." She apologized. "Don't be. Not many people know about it, not even the other CPUs in Super Dimension." I say. "I see. Well, thanks for telling me." She says back. "It's strange. This is a divine bow. Whatever happened, I was sure someone would've taken it. But to be blunt, it's not like just anyone can use it." I said aloud. "True. That's what makes it divine, right?" Alice said. I nod. "So, what are you gonna do now? Track Zoa?" She asked. I was silent for a moment, but came up with an idea. Since this is my story, I should tell you about my past, right? That's how good character development happens. "Actually, I think I'll stay for a while longer." I reply, and sit on the couch. "You wanna hear some back story, Alice?" I asked. She smiles, and gets comfy. "Sure. Why not?" She answers with a smile. "Okay. Well, what do you wanna hear first?" I ask again. "Hm...how about you? What were you like when you were still a CPU candidate? What did you do in your spare time?" She suggested. "Hm...let's see... Oh. I was a lot like Emi, actually. Very playful. Attention seeking. Loud." I told her. "Woah. You were loud?" She asked. "Yes, I was playful! Any girl would be!" I shout at her for interrupting. "Right, sorry. Continue." She says. "As for my free time, it wasn't the best thing to do, but I loved to play tennis. I don't know why, but I always found it calming. And I even won a national championship in tennis." I say. "Oh, speaking of which, the Gamindustri Games are coming up soon. Are you entering?" Alice asked. "Yeah. Along with others from Zero and Mega Dimension." I say. "Cool. Tennis is actually one of the sports that's playable. Should be a cakewalk for you." She said. "Actually, I haven't played tennis since I was a candidate, so I may be a little rusty. Anyway, later on in life, something bad happened in Lowee." I say. "What was that?" Alice asked. "I called it the Great Share Decline. For some reason, our Shares were dropping. And dropping fast, almost to the point where big brother died. So I tried to earn back the Shares we lost. But my solution wasn't the best. I decided to start stealing from rich people, and give it to the poor in country." I say. "Stealing?! That can't be good." Alice said, very surprised. "Yeah. And it wasn't. Sure, our Shares were growing again, but then they started dropping again, faster than before. It was the rich. They demanded we CPUs should defend their property better, as the stealing and raids happened much quicker. I thought I was doing the right thing. I told myself I was. But those were just the lies of an innocent little girl..." I said, getting depressed by my own story. "And then?" Alice asked. "My brother eventually found out, and scolded me for it. He left for a mission soon after the lecture, but never came back." I say. "I see. I'm sorry to hear that." Alice apologizes. "No no, it's fine. I needed to get that off my chest anyway. Thanks for listening." I say back. "Oh yeah. What was your brother's name?" She asked one more question. "His name?" I wonder, trying to comprehend the question. I smile, and tear drops down my face, as I open my mouth to speak. "His name was Niles. Niles of Lowee."
