Lele's POV
Here I am, at my new penthouse in Los Angeles. I've seen the pictures online, but it's so much bigger in real life. I'm speechless as I stride over to the large window that reveals the living room.
23rd floor...
The sky's made up with the occasional Los Angeles sunset, full of pastel oranges, yellows, purples, and blues. The kind of sunsets you see in pictures of Canon Beach on Google.
We had the furniture that was previously there paid for so we didn't have to bother with finding our own. I'm glad we didn't have to haul a bunch of big couch pillows through the lobby. Juanpa, being the amazing guy he is, is currently holding off a small army of friendly neighbors who have made it today's goal to meet "The young mans lovely girlfriend."
He's trying to explain that we're not available at the moment. Not sure how well that's working out for him though.
Really though, this place is incredible. This is the picture it showed us on the website:
I am so freakin glad we kept the furniture. It looks way better than it would've if me and Juanpa were in charge of decorating. This place is way bigger than my old apartment. It's weird though, living with one person rather than 10...I hear the door click open, and shut. "They do not take no for an answer," Juanpa laughs, joining me at the window. I giggle, and move closer to him. "I never have to set an alarm for classes ever again," I sigh, relieved. He puts his arm around my shoulder. "But you will for all the interviews, photoshoots, red carpets," He says as I groan.
"No," I murmur, leaning my head back. "Yeah," He mimics my actions.
He kisses me before we move on to look at other rooms, seeing the huge, modern bedroom, to the indoor pool that rich people call a "bath."
Biggest penthouse I have ever seen...
AND I FRICKEN OWN IT.
At around 9, the sunset formed a dark starry sky. I sit in one of the many chairs in our new dining room, watching Juanpa pour, of course, tequila, into 2 shot glasses.
What, you think I'd move into a new house without a little celebration?
"Strong," I say after gulping it down in one sip. "That was fast," Juanpa laughs, doing the same. "Oh come on, we both know you can do it way faster."
He shrugs, and puts everything away. We have no food yet, yet we have tequila? Why do even need to question that? Juanpa's here, of course there's some.
