*Barrie POV*
I wake up and walk outside, only to trip over something. I groan and hold my head. Damn it! I'm gonna kill my little brother!
I turn to see that there's this big box in front of my door. Who the hell would be so dumb to put a box in the middle of the freaking doorway?! Someone could die just by tripping on it...maybe go into a coma!
I almost jump out of my skin when my phone rings.
"Hello?"
"HEY!!"
If I didn't know any better, the whole gang was on the other end of the line.
"Woah, hey guys...easy on the screaming girls I think my ears flew to next year" I say jokingly and laugh
"Hey did you see the box Mahn?" Austin asks
"Well, you could say I actually tripped on it but yea I did see it"
"See Elms!! I told you not to put it at the middle of the freaking doorway! He could've fell and got a coma! " Lola hisses at Elms in the background followed by Deina "plus he doesn't open his eyes properly when he wakes up!"
Damn these girls know me well.
"Guys it's okay, I'm fine...just a throbbing head but I'm good. Don't kill the poor guy"
"Whatever" they both mutter
"So dude did you open it?" Louis asks
"No, was about to when you called"
"Okay, well when you do...call us and let us know"
"Okay I will"
"Great, see ya!, love you" Lolo says before they hand up.
I eye the box suspiciously, what could be in there? I carry it into my room and sit it on the bed. Opening it I gawk at what's inside.
*Austin POV*
We all sat in the basement, or as Elms called it 'the man cave'.
"I wonder if he opened it yet" Deina asks
"Mmhm, me too" Lolo replies
Deina is cuddled up with Lolo on a single seater sofa and their both watching Netflix on the laptop in front of them and eating pizza. For some reason they look cute together, almost like sisters.
Elms, Leslie, Louis and I are all playing video games. We're all waiting on Barrie's call.
Then the phone rings. Deina and Lolo beat us to it.
"Hey, so did you open it?" Lolo asked "I hope it fits, I'm not too sure what your size is so I guess you were close to Lulu's size" Deina said, then they begin bombarding him with questions.
"Guys, guys chill...it fits perfectly and it's a nice colour but what's the occasion?"
"Okay great, be there in a few bare bare" Deina says
"Wait but I-"
Deina hangs up and turns to us.
"Bamanoś amigoś" she says
We all get into Deina's car and make our way over to Barrie's
*Barrie POV*
I'm looking at the suit and at the mirror. What did I need this for? Last I saw I didn't have a date or wanted to go to Prom. Just then the door bell rings.
"I'll get it" my brother calls up
"Oh my gosh, Eddie!!" Deina and Lolo squeal in unison. I mentally roll my eyes, they think my brother is a cute or like Deina says "he's a mini you"
They all come up into my room. Smiling I open my arms to the girls who run in squealing with excitement, as they hug me more like as they tackle me to the floor.
"Oh shit I'm sorry bare bare" Deina says getting up
"Oh sweet Mary I'm so sorry" Lolo says as she too scrambles to her feet.
They look at me, then at each other. We all laugh at how silly we look right now. The guys shake with silent laughter.
"So why am I going to the prom?" I ask, eyeing the girls who are smiling wide at me.
"Well you see" Deina begins "I have a cousin, Tatiana. She's-"
"Oh ain't she the girl that sits with me in chemistry?, she's your cousin?...huh, no wonder y'all look almost the same" I say chuckling
"Yea that's her, I know right?...anyway she was looking for a date but didn't have one so we offered to help her out" Lolo said
"So let me get this straight. You two told her that y'all would help her and by help her" I say 'help he'd making a quote gesture with my hands "You decided to give me as a date, am I right?"
They both nod. "And you guys are totally okay with this" I look at the guys who seem like their about to laugh their asses off any second.
"Come on bear bear" Deina begs "please, pretty please with a cherry on top" Lolo begs as well...then they give me the 'puppy eyes' I look at them and sigh. These two just know how to get to me.
"Okay, okay whatever but I am not wearing a tie" I say
They both squeal and hug me. The guys all laugh as they pat my back. Austin mouths 'good luck with the tie thing dude' I mouth back at him 'suck it Matthew's!'
Even though I was acting like I didn't care, I was actually happy about tomorrow night.
