Akashi's pov

I stared after her as she disappeared beneath the trees. I cursed beneath my breath as I clicked the remote to the door and ran. She might not be an ordinary person, but she was still human. If she didn't die from the fall she was doomed to get hurt.

I ran as fast as I could. How could someone get stupid enough to actually jump from the third floor?! Or was it stupidity at all? Maybe it was pure despair? I didn't know. But I was purely curious. What was the deal about her? Even though she seemed to be the most annoying person I've met in my entire life. And how dare she talk back to me like that? And not to speak of the fact that she actually dared to throw me. She was one bold girl. Didn't she care if she lived or died at all? Her defiant personality was certainly entertaining, it'd be a shame if she died from that fall.

"Shit!" I cursed as she came into view, she laid limp on the grass, she wasn't bleeding but she'd had to hit her head. I ran over to her hoping she'd wake up when I shook her, but she didn't respond. I frowned. What a trouble maker... Always making a fuzz. As I bent down I couldn't help sighing. I pushed her orange hair out of her face and stared at her. Now that her face wasn't so tense or frowning. She was kind of cute. I wonder what she looked like while blushing. No, don't think of such things now... She might be hurt. I huffed and picked her up bridal style and brought her to the infirmary. She wasn't bleeding or anything, but she might have a concussion when she woke up.

I sat at the side of her bed and stared at her, she'd been out for a while now, but was breathing steadily. I had started to contemplate on tracking down a teacher when she suddenly stirred and my gaze went to her. She lifted her hand and touched her head. Her dazzling green eyes slowly opened. A groan escaped her as she tried to sit up but I pushed her back down.

"Don't move. You hit your head pretty bad" She growled and slapped my hand away but she gave up on trying to sit up. She looked at me with furrowed eyebrows. I figured I'd better treat her a bit more gently now that she was more or less crippled.

"Wh... What happened?" She pressed forward. Her eyes were obviously confused. I put my hands in my lap and frowned slightly at her, she'd really given me a scare when she jumped from that window.

"Apparently you're stupid enough to jump from windows in the third floor..." She sighed and lifted her other hand as well and brought it up to cover her face.

"What in the hell made me come up with a crazy idea like that?" She wondered out loud huffing. A chuckle escaped me as she actually seemed to agree it had been a bad idea. However the fact that she didn't seem to remember was troubling, but it didn't mean that I couldn't take advantage of her memory loss.

"I was hoping you could answer that. Say... Let me ask you a question" She looked at me as if she tried to remember who I was.

"How is your situation at home? Is your father treating you properly?" She looked at me with furrowed eyebrows. She huffed again and pressed her hands in her face, it appeared like she was pretty disoriented.

"Oh fuck my head hurts..." She muttered. I remained silent, covering up my annoyance that she didn't answer my question. I was already fairly certain about what her issue was, since there was no way she'd be this against telling me if it was a one time only occurance.

"Oh yeah... What was your question again? Do I know you? I get a feeling I don't like you..." She muttered. I couldn't help but get annoyed at her last statement. Then before I could even answer she started to get up again.

"Oh fuck... Has school ended? I need to get home.. If not I'm..." Suddenly she stopped mid sentence and her eyes snapped wide open and she looked at me. I could see it in her eyes that she suddenly recognized me and I immideately knew I'd lost my chance.
