Shizuko's pov
"So, what does your father do?" He sat down on the office chair by my desk. I furrowed my eyebrows.
"What? Like what is his job?" I asked and Akashi nodded. I grinned then moving myself further back on my bed and leaning on the wall behind me.
"He's a musician. He's the vocalist in his band. But he also plays guitar" Told him and he nodded. He looked a little surprised.
"What? Is there something wrong with that?" I asked and he shook his head slightly.
"No, I just didn't think it would be something like that" He said. I snorted and raised an eyebrow.
"Then what did you think he was doing for a living?" I asked honestly curious. I leaned forward slightly.
"I don't know, I figured he'd be a wrestler or something?" I tried to keep my mouth shut, I promise I did, but instead I burst out in a hysterical laugh. Akashi just glared at me. But I didn't care. I could handle him glaring at me.
"A wrestler?! Pffft! Yeah right! I can agree that he has a powerful body build. But he's not a wrestler!" I pressed forward between my violent laughs. Akashi continued to glare at me untill I managed to stop laughing. I wiped away a tear that had escaped form the corner of my eye.
"Hahaha, a wrestler... Haha" I giggled to myself with a stupid grin on my face. I could hear my dad walking in the stairs. But I didn't care though.
"Well I find it hard to believe that he's a musician" Akashi said stubbornly I stared at him for a while surprised to see that his cheeks heated slightly. Cute.
"But he is" I deadpaned eventually. Akashi didn't reply right away.
"I don't believe you" He finally stated and leaned back in the chair. I stared at him a little frustrated.
"But its true! Come on why would I lie about that?!" I said raising my voice slightly. This felt kind of nice. I felt more or less like a normal teenager. I think. I don't know. Akashi shook his head and shrugged.
"Well, I never know when it comes to what you might lie about" I sighed irritated. I knew my dad was somewhere in the second floor. And he would certainly not get mad if it was about music. I stood up and walked over to my door and opened it.
"Dad!" I yelled and after a little while he came out of his bedroom with a nasty frown on his face that made shivers run down my spine.
"Akashi-kun doesn't believe me when I tell him you're a musician" I pouted at him, doing my best to not freeze up. His frown eased a little and was eventually replaced with a grin. He started walking towards the studio. We'd picked this house when moving just because of that room.
"Oh? Is that so? I guess we have to prove it then." He said sounding quite cheerful, which had me relax a bit. I jumped and clapped my hands.
"Yay!~" I cheered and turned to Akashi while I was already halfway out the door.
"Come on!" I told him and he stared at me sceptically but did get up and follow me. I skipped across the hallway and into the small studio. As I came in my dad was just finished starting the system up.
"You'll lend me a hand right?" He asked and smiled. I grinned back. It was only when it was about music that my dad would actually give me a real smile. Which only made me appreciate these moments even more. I loved music, it was like a safe haven.
"Yes of course!" I said barely able to wait for as much as one more second. Akashi stepped in beside me.
"What is all this?" He asked looking around the simple studio. A big table with all the devices on. And a computer that recorded everything. Then there was a window in the middle of the wall leading to the recording room. There was a set of double doors on the left side of the window, the two doors swung in differnt directions, so they wouldn't collide, and made sure the room was totaly soundproof.
