My Perfect Match Part 2
Miranda woke up…to her loud alarm which was blasting her favorite song Show Me by Kid Ink ft Chris Brown. She danced her way to the bathroom and got ready for her day, after she was done getting ready she shut off her alarm and grabbed her purse while heading down the stairs. She grabbed her phone and got into her car, headed to the school she worked at. She drove up to Pinewood Primary School. Shes worked their for a year now and she loves it a lot…the students love seeing her…its great. She got out of her car and greeted everyone before heading to her classroom. She had 10 minutes to get ready before the kids came running int….it made her smile whenever they did that. She set up everything for the guest speakers and head the bell ring for students to come inside for class, her students ran in and she smiled. They all ran to her to give a huge hug, she laughed and they did too.
Miranda-alright kids go have a seat, todays gonna be fun
The kids cheered and sat down, she pulled out some paper and color pencils, she was helping them spell more things and letting them color. She was went from table to table helping all the kids till the secretary of the school popped her head in, her name was Mrs.Tina
Mrs.T- hello Ms.James
Miranda-*Smiles* hello Mrs.Tina. what can I do for you?
Mrs.T-your guest speakers are here
Miranda-wonderful send them in
Mrs.T-oh one of them is running late but he will be here as soon as possible, had to visit a family members….health concerns.
Miranda-completely understandable
Mrs.T-great well I will let you guys have fun
Miranda thanked her and then welcomed the guest as they walked in. their was a chef, Dentist, Baker and then the missing guest that no one had heard from yet. After hearing from the Chef and the Dentist which every kid got a tooth brush from….the baker was speaking and passing out small cakes for the kids to decorate, even Miranda got a cake. She laughed and had fun decorating cakes with the students when their was a knock on the door. She cleaned off her hands and watched as one of her students opened the door, in walked a man in Uniform…Army Uniform to be exact. Miranda couldn’t see their face but she knew it was the last last to talk, she walked over to that person and as she got closet, she was in a bit of shock…it was Jacob.
Miranda-Jacob
Jacob-Miranda??....wait…this is your class?
Miranda-yea *laughs* small world…I see your our last guest speaker
Jacob-*smiles* yea…I guess they wanted another persective
Miranda-well come on in, the kids will be excited to hear about you
Miranda closed the door as Jacob walked to the front of their class. The kids were eating their cakes and listening to him talk. Miranda couldn’t stop stareing at him, and would blush a bit everytime he looked her in the eyes or smiled at her. He talked about how it was an honor to serve his country, how it was always great to come home and he showed off the badges and metals he got from being in the war. The kids loved seeing the metals and hearing some interesting war stories, it was great for them….but in Jacobs mind was all the shootings, bombs….explosion….everything that was true to war. After he was done everyone clapped and the kids cheered, after all the speakers took a bow they had a little party in the classroom. Decided to just have fun for the rest of the day. Miranda was cleaning up cups and plates, when she felt someone cover her eyes with their hands. She smiled and set everything down and crossed her arms.
