Jacob was in the hallway as his phone rang…he excused himself from the room before answering the phone. He couldn’t take this call infront of Miranda…too much would happen.

They hung up…Jacob looked at the phone before putting it back in his pocket. He signed and ran his fingers through his hair….he was about to play a dangerous game with a girl he used to love. He didn’t want to hurt Miranda…or make her think anything was going on…so he hid that from her. He put on a simile before walking back in the room.

Miranda-hey baby, was that??
Jacob-just an old friend who wants to meet up when we get there
Miranda-oo ok, am I going or-
Jacob-no, I want you to get to know my sister in law and my brother since we will be staying with them for a while.

she hugged him, then he gave Jacob a hand shake. Jacob took mirandas hand before walking out the door and to the cab he called, they rode home in silence while holding hands. They got to hotel they had to be at for the night and went inside…they had a room already. They didn’t have any clothes at the moment so they had to sleep in their underwear. They got under the covers but Miranda was inbetween Jacobs legs. He put his hands on her now, large stomach….he smiled when Miranda put her hands ontop of his. He then felt something…
Jacob-oh my god…she kicked
Miranda-*smiles* yea
Jacob-this is amazing
Miranda-3 more months and we see her

Jacob-no…its hard to think of something perfect
Miranda-*laughs* yea
Jacob-well lets get some sleep, its past eleven pm and we need sleep if were driving at 6am.
Miranda-excuse me, what time??

Miranda-…..good luck getting me out of this bed

they talked for a few minutes till Miranda fell asleep, Jacob held her…wasn’t able to fall asleep for an hour….just thinking about how the day would go. He finally fell asleep knowing they had to get up….hours later it was six am of course he was up earlier to get ready, he picked up Miranda while she was still sleeping and put her in the cab to head to saras house. He carried her inside saras house (he had a key to get in), he grabbed his keys then put Miranda in the passenger seat. She moved a little bit because she was being moved to much. He smiled before getting in the drivers seat….he was driving for hours…he would stop occasionally to get coffee or pee or whatever he had to do. Miranda basically slept for a while then woke up and just looked while they drove. Few hours later she was back to sleeping because pregnant women love sleeping…well atleast Miranda did, Jacob on the other hand drove for hours. The trip actually took a day which he didn’t realize until he looked at the map and everything, he wished they would have taken a plane but it was whatever….so he called his brother and told him he would be there the next day, he drove for a lot longer before stopping at a hotel, resting then continue to drive till they were finally almost there. While he was driving and was about 10 minutes from his brothers house, he got a phone call. He used his Bluetooth. He looked over to see Miranda looking out the window, awake for once. He pressed the button to answer the call

Jacob-hello??
Sandra-jacob…
Jacob-what??...why are you calling me
Sandra-where were you yesterday
Jacob-driving to New York….its not exactly a short few hour drive…its like a day and a half.
Sandra-why didn’t you just fly??
Jacob-because my girlfriend is pregnant and just dosent like it
Sandra-so when you getting his
Jacob-its about 1pm now so ill be there by 2…
Sandra-meet me at the park at 2:30
Jacob-fine bye

he pressed the button and signed looking straight ahead. He then felt Miranda hold his hand and intertwine their fingers, he smiled and looked at her for a quick second then looking forward again.

Miranda-who was that??
Jacob-the friend I was supposed to see yesterday
Miranda-ooo ok
Jacob-were almost there, you ok??
Miranda-just feeling a little sick

A few minutes later they pulled into a neighborhood and went to a house. A two story house that was white with blue window outline, blue door…your typical house. Jacob pulled into the driveway and got out the car, he went to mirandas side and helped her out.

they then heard the door open….his brother and his wife walked out, seconds later a very energetic 2 year old ran out. his brother Mike and his wife Carrie smiled as their daughter Sophia ran to her uncle.

he picked her up and kissed her cheek which made her laugh. He loved his niece a lot, rarely got to see her but was there the moment she was born.

Sophia-whos she??

Miranda laughed a little as Sophia got a little shy, Jacob grabbed Miranda hand as he began to walk over to the house. He let got of mirandas hand as he hugged his brother, then hugged Carrie and kissed her cheek.

they got all the stuff to the guest room….Jacob then got in the car and drove to the park where he was suppose to meet Sandra. He sat on a bench and just looked around till he felt a hand on his shoulder, he looked up to see Sandra. He moved her hand and stood up…..she still looked the same from when they last saw eachother.

Sandra-hi Jacob…its been a long time

he started walking away but she pulled his arm and he looked, next thing he knew their lips were connected in a kiss. He pushed her away…and looked at her in shock.

Jacob then went to his car and drove home….leaving a sad looking but slightly angry Sandra at the park. He got back to the house and went inside…luckily they were all in the back yard. He went to the kitchen and got a cup of water….he ran his fingers through his hair trying to gather up everything that happened. He saw his old fiancé….now shes on his mind….he remembers the good times but the worse times are just….so much more clear. He started drinking the water and took a few sips before putting the cup down. He turned around as Miranda was walking in…she smiled at him, he looked at her a little but knowing what happened….was making him feel guilty inside.

Miranda-hey baby…something wrong
Jacob-uh no im fine
Miranda-you don’t seem ok
Jacob-I need to tell you something
Miranda-*smiles* ok
Jacob- so…the person I had to see today, was my ex-fiance Sandra

Mirandas smile slowly fell as she saw him look down a litte bit….she could see the guilt in his eyes…..what had he done??....she had no idea.

Miranda just looked at him with a slightly plain expression….he went over and held her hands but she pulled them away.

She slightly smiled but walked away upstairs and slammed the door. Jacob leaned against the counter and put his hands over his face….he regrets everything that just happened. He had to make things better….but how??....just wait….
