Nurse-sir sometimes with twins…one can block the other

Miranda started to push really hard…Jacob got a rag and was wiping the sweat from her face. Miranda was breathing hard and pushing as hard as she could till finally the pressure was relived….but their was no crying.
Miranda-whats wrong…why isn’t the baby crying
Jacob-I don’t know…doctor whats going on
the doctor handed the baby to the nurse and she rushed out of the room. Mirandas eyes followed the nurse out the door then she looked worriedly at the doctor.
Miranda-whats wrong with my baby??
Doctor-shes having a little bit of trouble breathing
Jacob-is she going to be ok
Doctor-we just have to get the fluid out and she should be fine. but congratulations on your twin girls
Miranda-*smiles a little* thank you
Doctor-I will be back as soon as the problem is fixed
Jacob-thank you doctor
the doctor then walked out of the room. Jacob looked down to see Miranda wiping some tears away…he sat on the bed beside her and side hugged her while rubbing her other shoulder.
Jacob-shes gonna be ok

Jacob-I cant believe im the father…of twin girls

Jacob-we gotta buy a second crib and more clothes

Miranda-I think when we each hold one….we name the one were holding

he leaned down and kissed her…she kissed back then they just waited. Some time passed before their was a knock on the door…Jacob helped Miranda sit up before they both said come in. the nurse walked in rolling one cart with both babies in it.
Nurse-I brought some company

Jacob teared up as he was handed one of the twins…Miranda was handed the other. The nurse went over to the table and started writing things down.

Jacob-this little ones name is Alexis Marie Garcia

Nurse-great name choices. You are allowed to leave the hospital tomorrow; the girls have no problems at all they are perfectly healthy even though they are early. But I will be back a little later to check on them
