Sixteen

I woke up by the sound of my phone's ringtone . I checked the caller ID that belonged to Jungkook .

yah ! It's 9 am , why aren't you awake yet ?

what do you mean ??

I reached home late , I was hungry and had to do a lot of stuff at home and slept late !!

aish . quickly get ready . I'll text you the address of where i'm meeting you

I hung up the phone and quickly get ready . I called for a cab to get me to the following address that Jungkook texted me .

I opened my apartment door to see stalks of roses lying on the floor leading me to the elevator . There were sticky notes stuck the roses .

" Fira .. I've been .. wanting .. to show you something .. follow me .. " I said it out loud after combining all of them .

There was one placed on the button panels that said " You're a small human being who deserves all the love in the world " I giggled .

There was another one place outside the elevator . I picked it up and was written " I'll protect you " I blushed thinking about what his up to .

The cab was waiting outside so I quickly ran to the cab and apologised the uncle for waiting . I told him the address and he dropped me outside of a tall building . I called Jungkook since I don't see his presence anywhere .

uhh I might be late but don't worry just go up to level 12 room 12-A

12-A ? okayy don't be late !!

I went into the building and went up to level 12 . There was a long corridor with many doors . I went and entered the room 12-A . I was speechless went I entered the room .

There was a walkway , on the left place a grand-looking chair that said "my queen " and on the right was a 88 key black grand piano .

I sat on the chair and the television beside me automatically turned . A video of Jungkook popped up .

He was talking to me about how much we both have grown from the very start when we first met . I kept smiling all the way .

He is such a bunny he deserves all the love in the world too . He was being so cute as I watch the video .

I couldn't hold back my laughter . When the video ended , the piano started playing instantly .

Jungkook was playing the piano and started singing me purpose and nothing like us by Justin Bieber .

His voice is so angelic . I was at the verge of tears but I continued to hold it in .

I gave him a round of applause when he finished singing . I stood up and when over to him to give him a hug but he was so embarrassed that he kept running away from me .

We both laughed while playing a game of tag . He then gave me a back hug .

There was a table for two at the end of the room and there were small lighted candles that spelled my name .

We went over , sat down and decided to eat my favourite cake , red velvet cheesecake , that was beautifully displayed on the table .

He put a candle that was shaped into the number 19 and lighted it up . He started singing me the birthday song .

My eyes widened as I was shook . I quickly cheked the date on my phone and it is my birthday .

" What is this ?! Wah .. I really didn't know it was my birthday " I blurted out .

" Are you being serious . You didn't know that today is your birthday " he asked in shock .

" yea really . I mean its been so long since people celebrate my birthday then I stopped celebrating myself then .. it just faded " I replied .

" How did you know about my birthday . And came up with all these " I added .

" Through tough research " he said sarcastically .

" I went to help our captain with attendance so that I could see your birth date " he added , smiling cheekily .

I made a wish and blew out the candle . He gave me a slice of the cake and he took the other slice .

We were so quiet when we were eating . I noticed that there were small jars of jelly beans with labels and description .

There was " the cheesy guy " , " the macho guy " , " the young cute boy " and " the romantic and sexy " . I asked him what they were and he said that if I feed him any of them , he will turn into as what the description says .

So I fed him " they young cute boy " jellybean and he transformed himself and acted cute and foolish like a baby . I cried from laughing too much . I then gave him "the romantic and sexy " .

He became so bold and daring . I was so afraid of him . He held my arm tightly , pulled me against the wall . He was right in front of me , our noses were touching each other .

" Yah . Am I not romantic yet ? " he said in a sexy man voice , winking at me while biting his lips .

I could not control my laughter and neither can he . We then got into his or Jimin's car and wanted to send me home .

[Jungkook POV ]

Why .. why am I so stupid . Words of regrets keep screaming at me . I wanted to ask her to be my girlfriend on the night after our dance competition .

We've spent so much time with each other . So comfortable with each other and was about time to ask her but I just couldn't .

I'm such a coward .

I missed the opportunity so I planned this instead and it was planned to be on her birthday to make it even more special .

But I couldn't say it and it's all over now . Two systems failed . Two ..

We were in the car and it was kind of awkward . We didn't say anything but I needed to tell her something .

I was told that I was chosen as a trainee in BigHitEnt . I went for the audition the other day .

So it might be our last time seeing each other ..
