being in love with your best friend is the WORST. don't get me wrong, i would never stop being friends with peyton just because she doesn't like me or anything. but she likes this guy wyatt and i listen to her talk about him while i wish she was thinking these things about me. i know people say i'm too young to be in love but i just have that feeling, she makes me so happy.

peyton knows i like her and she's super cool about it. she never said whether or not she likes me back in the entire 6 months we've been friends, so i'm assuming no. but if i'm being totally honest, sometimes i think that there's a chance she might. she just looks at me sometimes with her wide eyes, in the same way that i'm pretty sure i'm always looking at her. and that's when i'll kind of half-jokingly try to kiss her and she'll always nicely say no. then i just laugh (because i really don't expect anything from her, i don't want her to think that's the only thing i want her for! that would be disrespectful) and tell her she can't blame me for trying but that it's okay.

i just don't know. i guess maybe she doesn't like me since she likes wyatt, but then she'll hug me for really long periods of time or even lean her head on my shoulder when we watch movies. the other day, she held my hand when i went over to her house and didn't even let go when i got nervous and they went clammy. and then there was that time she kissed my cheek but that's a story for another day.

maybe she's just really comfortable around me since we're best friends. either way, i don't want to get my hopes up because she's allowed to like whoever she wants and i don't want to make her uncomfortable. i just hope that one day, maybe, she'll like me too.

i'm double posting today
also i have idea's about things i want to include in this shorter story but i really really want to hear if there's specific things you guys want to see! let me know ❤️
