I shook Blossom, already hating how still she is. Blossom mumbled something and Haru barked. I glared at him and refused to move his head from her stomach. I don't think Haru sitting on her is doing anything!

"Do something you stupid wolf! Save my Blossom, now!"  I yelled.
Blossom groaned and I looked down, I grabbed her face. Her skin cold as ice and pale as Hades. I frowned and stroke her cheek with my thumb, whispering a small prayer in Greek. A prayer that Persephone taught me.

Haru bumped his head against my side, I look at him and he nudged a bottle at me. I pressed my lips together and grab the bottle. Apollo'ss Poison Cream written across. I snorted and Blossom gasped as she sat up. I looked at her and grabbed her shoulders.

"Blossom, please hold on." I begged.

"Hecate. . . Hecate said the monster but he isn't. . . evil." Blossom gasped.

I opened the bottle and rubbed it on her bite marks, "Okay. Okay."

She fell down and soft snores left her mouth. I let go of my breath and felt something wet touch my hand. I took my hand away and touch my face. I'm crying? I frowned and shook my head. I can't cry, I don't need to cry, I have no reason to cry. It's not like I like Blossom. She's just my quest mate, just a friend.

I sighed and pushed her hair from her face. Blossom color started to restore but I couldn't see any reason to be happy. She had to face her mother's enemies by herself. I wasn't there to protect her, I wasn't there to keep her calm. Even in front of me I couldn't save her. She was bitten in front of me!

After all the things that happened, I still couldn't save her. How am I going to lead this quest if I can't keep monsters away from Blossom?

Blossom stirred and I looked down. She opened her eyes, finally showing me her pink eyes, and she struggled to sit up. I helped her and she leaned against me. After everything that happen, she still smells like strawberries.

"Blossom?" I asked slowly.

She looked at me, "I'm alive?"

"Yeah. I think Apollo sent us some cream to help. A-are you okay?"

"I was bitten by those. . . creepy things."

"Blossom, I'm sorry."

She looked at me, confused, "For what?"

"I didn't protect you. I didn't stop Archne and Medusa from taking you. I'm just sorry for losing you." I said.

Blossom looked away but I noticed her ears turning red. I smiled and she grabbed my hand. Now my ears are turning red. I looked down at our hands and smiled. Blossom cleared her throat and I glanced at her.

"Thanks for saving me." Blossom whispered.

"Blossom," I said as she looked at me. "I think you're the bravest person I ever met. Facing Archne and Medusa, Athena's sworn enemies."

"I didn't fight them."

"So? You faced them. That's mkre than most Athena children ever done."

"You are nice, you know that?"

"Only to people I care about."

"Guys!" Ace yelled. "I never thought I would've found you!"

I quickly let go of Blossom's hand and jumped up, helping Blossom to her feet Ace reached us. He smiled and handed Blossom her bag. As soon Blossom grabbed her bag, she fell to her knees. I glared at Ace and grabbed the bag as I helped Blossom up.

"She's weak. Just went through something." I said.

"Sorry man. Anyways did you get information on Zeus's monster?" Ace asked.

Blossom nodded, "From what Hecate said, he sounds like a boy. Maybe one of his sons?"

"Why would one of his sons go against us?" Ace asked.

"Zeus doesn't really win father of the year award. He has so many kids, maybe more than all of the gods." I said.

"Actually Poseidon had the most kids. People pay attention to Zeus because Hera killed them and Zeus is a cheater." Blossom said.

"Great. So where would this male be?" Ace asked.

"Hecate said some meadow where no flowers grow but animals roam." Blossom said

"Great! But aren't we forgetting North Carolina is a southern state. I mean most patches of land are farms and forest." Ace said.

"Maybe she was talking about a forest." I said.

"But flowers grow there." Blossom said.

The silence spread through us, we had no idea what lead we have. Hecate just gave us a simple description, nothing fancy or specific. Just normal. I look at Blossom and she looked confused, that look didn't right on her. Blossom looked up at the sky and an owl flew by. She widened her eyes and let go of me.

"Blossom?" I asked.

She took off running, Haru followed her and Ace and I looked at each other. We both nodded and chased her. Blossom's bag beat against my stomach and my bag made me run slower. Granted I've never really run before. Blossom stopped in front of a small store.

I looked at her, her face twisted in anger and more confusion. She stepped forward and I grabbed her arm. Blossom look at me with a glare. I flinched but didn't let go of her arm.

"Blossom, I have a bad feeling." I said.

"That owl. That's my mother symbol, she wanted us to be here for a reason." Blossom said.

"Did you forget that your mother enemies almost killed you? What if another one of her enemy is there?"

"There's answers in there Brick! I need, we need them! Now are you coming with me or not?" She asked.

Before I could say anything she took off running. Ace and Haru went after her, leaving me looking like an idiot. I threw my hands in the air and felt something burning in my pocket. I frowned and pulled out the flower that Persephone gave me. The ten petals are now five. It took me five days to find Blossom? I put the flower in my pocket and chased after them.

"Help us Hades, please." I muttered before opening the front door.
