Leigh sighed as she stood from the cab and sighed. She grabbed her bag and paid the driver before she walked up the path to her brother's house. Leigh hadn't seen max in a few years. He had fallen out with their parents before their death. Leigh blamed herself for their death. She thought it was her fault for leaving her hair curlers on. She couldn’t remember if she had turned them off before she went off. Leigh knew that she was meant to be in the night of the fire, but she had sneaked out to a house party and when she had returned her parents had died. Leigh walked up the path to her brother's house and knocked at the door. Max answered the door and smiled to leigh "how are you?" Max asked as leigh shrugged. Max sighed as he helped leigh into the house with her bags. She looked to him and sighed "how do you think I am max? I was meant to die in that fire too" Leigh said as max looked to her and smiled slightly. He didn’t know how to comfort her, he knew that leigh was pushing everyone away "leigh, I know you are struggling but I'm here, don't push me away please" he said as he hugged leigh. She rested her head on his chest and smiled as he held her close. He knew that he was all that Leigh had.

Leigh sat in the car as max parked into the car park. He had enrolled her at waterloo road and she was starting. Leigh didn’t know what to think about it and didn't know if she was ready to go back to school. She hardly spoken to max about her parent's death, she had pushed it in the back of her mind and shut it off "come on" max said to leigh who nodded. She stood from the car and sighed. She ran a hand through her hair and looked to the school in front of her "try and stay out of trouble leigh, and make some friends" Max said as leigh sighed.

She walked into the school and stood in the hallway. She stood picking her nails, she hated being the new girl at school. She looked to see a girl around her age and a younger girl, she could tell that they were sister. Leigh smiled to them slightly "hi, I'm grace and this is my little sister Olivia" the older girl said "leigh" "Your new, aren't you?" Grace asked as leigh smiled "that easy to tell?" Leigh asked as grace smiled "you look nervous that’s all, what class have you got next?" Grace asked "English, Mr Clarkson" Leigh said as Grace smiled "same here, you can walk with me" grace said as leigh smiled "thanks" Leigh said as grace waved Olivia off to maths before they walked towards English.

"so, what's he like? The English teacher?" Leigh asked "he's fit, but I have my eye on someone else" grace said "oh?" "the executive head, Mr Tyler he's fit" grace said "he's also my brother" leigh said "really do you think I can have his number?" Grace asked as leigh chuckled "I suppose I can" leigh said as they walked into the class. Leigh looked to tom and they both smirk. She bite her lip and looked to him "you must be leigh Tyler?" Tom asked "and you must be fit, nice to meet you sir" leigh said smirking to tom. He chuckled and smirked t her. Leigh knew it would only be a matter of time before she had him, and she was going to make it her mission to have him
