New Years.
The most exciting day of the year. And I convinced all my friends to come to Chicago with me. Crazy right? They all agreed so I mean, at least I won't be alone on New Years. Liza is coming tonight, can't miss a New Years kiss.

Liza finds my eyes.
"Pretty sure we're the only sober ones." She jokes. The music blasting. I put my hands on her hips and she starts to dance.

Liza looks to me, and I smile.
"I want to be with you forever." I tell her.
"What?" She replies

"Liza. Will you make me the happiest person in the world?" I say. Pulling a black box out of my pocket. I look around and there are people filming- with their phones and their cameras. I kneel down and open the box.
"Will you marry me?" I ask. But I am drowned out by the sounds of screaming, happy new year, and the clinking of drinks. Liza kisses me, wrapping her arms around my neck. She breaks the kiss and rests her forehead on mine.
"Of course David. I love you." She whispers.
"Happy new year." I say, sliding the ring onto her finger.
