Luke runs outside to the car as fast as his legs could humanely run and goes into a fit of panting when the palm of his hands make contact with the vehicle's windows. He turns around and let's his body slide down the side of the car as exhaustion took over. I have to get out of here, he thinks. One of those people is a maniac killer and he is not ready to die.

At the age of seventeen, there are many things the young boy had not done yet. Such as finding the one, settling down and getting married, having kids.. The whole white picket fence idea. A huff escapes from his pursy, rose lips.

"A murderer is inside. " He repeats to himself over and over. "A murderer is inside. " He runs his slender fingers over the necklace hanging from his neck. It was a small yin-yang charm on a sterling silver chain.

There is a set of silver keys lying in his small black denim pocket and Luke feels them there. He reaches into it with his free hand and pulled them out. He rises to his feet and lets them rest in his palms for a moment while he contemplates.

Should I just go?

He battles the opposing voice inside his head which pleads him to stay.

If you leave, it will cause suspicion

It gives a solid reason for him not to go. He tosses the keys in the air and catches them in his hand without fail. He goes against the nagging voice of his conscience and unlocks the car's driver-side door with the press of the silver button on the remote.

He grabs ahold of the handle and pulls it open, hopping inside and slamming the door behind him. Luke scrambles to look for the right key. It is a silver key with a black cover on the top that reads the maker of the vehicle.

He inserts the key into the ignition and waiting for the car to start. It doesn't. Luke's heart sinks with distraught. He tries again. And again. With no luck.

"Damn it!" He pounds on the steering wheel with both his fists. He opens the car door and goes over the hood. He gets it to lift and checks to see if all the parts are there. He's not an expert, but he can tell that it's missing one essential piece.

...

Raven sits down at the kitchen table and analyses her surroundings with a critical and shrewd eye. How on earth did the killer get there if everyone was in the living room?

She points to the table. Yes the table. Macie was playing dolls here. All of a sudden she was over there. Raven looks into the living room. It isn't that far. Want to know what's also not far? The garage. She considered the distance.

The house is arranged so that when you pass the kitchen entryway, there is a door that leads to the garage. Prior to Max's death, it was opened.

Suspicious. Very, very suspicious.

Raven purses her lips and pulls out her cell phone. NO service reads the black status bar at the top. Since the incident, someone turned off the wifi, and for some reason no one's phone is working.

No phone. No car. No anything.

Luke's "testing" out of the car caused tension in the house. The news of Luke almost leaving us didn't settle well with Ashton, who considered himself to be the leader of the group. It caused a mild brawl between them. A black eye, busted lip, and a sore stomach. Nothing major.

She gets up and walks to the garage, opening he heavy door. The garage smells of death for the rotting body they left in there. Raven gags at the stench.

She circles the garage multiple times until she sees it. A compromising piece of evidence is inches away from her feet. She picks it up. Raven keeps thinking and finally figured it out.

And I think I'm going to end the chapter there? Yeah? ok.
