Candace loves mansions, but the Indianwood one she is currently in gives her the creeps. The mansion she owns at home, that her daddy bought for her, is way better than this.
She chews on her lower lip and stares at the walls. She shares her room with Michael, who is currently helping Luke board up the attic.
A framed piece of paper above her bed soon catches her verde eye. She climbs onto the bed and gets on her knees, squinting to see the picture clearly.
"Ten little Indian boys went out to dine;
One choked his little self and then there were nine.
Nine little Indian boys sat up very late;
One overslept himself and then there were eight.
Eight little Indian boys traveling in Devon;
One said he'd stay there and then there were seven"
She reads it aloud and noticed a similarity. Raven was killed when she was sleeping. Was that just a coincidence?
Her soft strawberry curls fall onto her face as she takes the picture down to examine it closer.
Was it also a coincidence that the attic has a sign over it reading Devon?

Michael inhales from his cancer stick. He then exhales the smoke out into the slightly frigid spring air. He watched as it travelled and dissipated.
His recently dyed green hair has already began to fade and is swept slightly by the wind out of his pale face.
He huffs another puff of smoke and stares out into the distance. All roads have been closed off and he finds himself stranded in Indianwood Mansion.
He is sitting on the cement steps of the entrance. The cigarette is tapped against the cement to remote the excess pieces.
The grieving boy does not know what to do with himself, he has lost his one true love. And he never got the chance to say I'm sorry. They had gotten into a fight and never really recovered. That is one thing that triggered his relapse into smoking.
Raven would've wanted me to stay strong, kick this habit. Michael considers the thought of his ex.
Michael chuckles at the word habit. Raven never let him get away with calling his addiction a habit.
"It's an addiction, Michael. " He mimicked the deep sultry voice of his deceased ex-girlfriend half-heartedly.
He's been trying to be strong for everyone. It has proved to be excruciatingly hard for him to do so. Max's death didn't affect him that much, it was when Raven died that he realised his fate.
Candace has just showed the group the poem and leaves Michael to wonder. Who will be the next to die?
