Simoné eyes her blonde hair in the mirror. Parts of it is frizzy and sticking up. Fly-away strays in all directions. Although it is time for bed and her hair will get messy again when she slept, she feels it necessary to fix it anyways.

She takes a brush and brushes the kinks out of it, cringing at the bristles. The door opens behind her and in walks Raven. Her short glossy black hair is wet from her shower, but the rest of her is immaculately dry.

Raven's shorts are burgundy red and her tank top is a simple black. Her feet are clad in fluffy slippers that match her shorts. She walks in ready to talk. "Simoné, I have to tell you something. " She shuts the door behind herself.

"Yes?"Simoné preps herself for whatever her friend has to tell her and checks out her blonde hair in the mirror. She watches herself exhale in a sleepy matter. She can not wait to get some shut-eye.

Raven clears her throat and lowers her voice. " I think I know who killed Max. " Simoné's light blue eyes widen in interest.

"Tell me. "

Raven begins to reach into her bag-the place she has stuffed the article of clothing in. She is interrupted by the door opening and Calum popping his head in.

"Don't forget to lock your doors. " He warns cautiously glancing back and forth between the two girls. He chews on his lower lip nervously once he realises that there's a chance of them could be a killer. That is the reason after he spoke, he left swiftly. While he was talking, Raven removes her hand from her bag and sets it on the dresser.

"He thinks we're idiots? Of course we wouldn't leave our door unlocked. " Raven rolls her eyes and clicks her tongue. Who does he think he is? Raven thinks to herself. She had not said it aloud because of Simoné's friendship with the brunette.

"He was just being careful, that's all. " Simoné defends him and gets up from the chair. She stuffed earbuds in her ear and ambled over to her bed, nearly collapsing onto the soft cushion. She moans in comfort and wiggled herself underneath the covers.

"How can you even sleep when we could be dead tomorrow?" Raven sighs when she realises that's she is practically talking to herself. The soft snoring coming from her roommate tells her so.

Three knocks are placed on the wooden door. "Who is it?" Raven asks offhandedly while glancing out the window. She sits in the middle of her bed. The view from the bedroom is spectacular. A sparkling clearwater lake can be seen from the glass. The water reflects the moon and the trees surrounding the landscape, appearing a bluish color.

A dark shadow enters the room and Raven's heart rate increases exponentially when she recognises the figure. "You just have everything figured out huh?" A sinister chuckle shakes their body. Their nearing footsteps cause anxiety to erupt inside of Raven, pulsing through her veins.

The face comes into clear view and Raven finds out her prediction is correct. They pick up their piece of clothing and smile at it. "You're pretty clever. " The murderer smirks.

"Tomorrow everyone is going to know. " Raven tells them with a smile, feigning courage in her tone. "You're going to go to jail. "

"Not if nobody finds out." They say coyly and grab a pillow. Raven is confused for a moment before her eyes start to enlarge.

They shove the pillow on her face. Raven begins to flail and attempts to fight her attacker off. The cushion engulfs Raven's entire face and limits the oxygen to her brain. She starts to feel dizzy.

And starts to slip.

And slip.

Away.

Once she stops fighting back, the pillow is removed from her lifeless face. Her pale features stand out more after her body is deprived of oxygen. Her pink lips now chapped and her brown eyes are wide with shock.

The killer runs their fingers over her eyelashes to close the victim's eyes. They step away from the bed and take their clothing with them when they leave.
