Nebulae (poem)
Lay in a bed of gas and dust.
As I stare at the field of other stars,
I dream of holding a light of your crust.
You continue to swallow surrounding stars.
As I continue to watch you from afar,
I know that I will never reach you enough.
I remember when you held my hands and said you wanted to make me happy.
I know that we will someday meet,
But it will be a painful long wait.
As my core continues to heat,
I explode and become a million times great.
My heart turns to dust;
My eyes turn to stars.
I am chilled by your gust,
And your smile isn't far
anymore.
I'll love you to eternity,
But my mind still continues to mourn.
The stars turn to tears
From the loose of your warmth.
I stare into darkness.
Nebulae continue to cry.
The dark sheets turn to a white dress
And I was clothed with light.
As each day passes,
I am getting closer to you.
My mind surpasses my body;
Now I am greater than before.
A million years pass...
I know that I'll be with you forever
As we fuse together.
Your arms wrap around mine
And my hands turn into darkness.
Do not cry even if we can't see and feel.
Distance will not stop us from thriving.
