Cease

Another broken dream,
Another promise never made.
Even if I miss those times,
I must not let myself fade
And dreams must cease.

But...
When I sleep tonight,
I'll think through those times
When I see her there
I feel sudden nostalgia.

Girl in the wind
She's waiting for me.
White, thin linen
flowing in the wind.
Dark, flowing hair
Red eyes looking at me.
She leans on the railing.
She looks behind.
Her smile unbinds me,
Even for her sorrowful look.
Though she ceases her tears,
she does not cease her shackles;
shackles of missing...
strings that bind me...
Her lovely stare does not cease me.
And I cannot wait for time.

The only thing I can do now
Is to hold you in these arms.
The truth will never be told to them
because to them it is forbidden.
She pulls back her hair
and a clip of lust pins it.

We look into each other's eyes.
She lays on my chest.

In that moment,
The universe phases us
and it was all a dream.
So I wake up
and the essence of her is still here
in these lonely arms.

These tears do not cease.
Maybe someday we will meet again.

As I walk through the hallways,
There's an essence of you
Yet it's different, like it's changed.

Is this what my loneliness has come to?
Or is it just déjà vu?

I call to you again.
"Eleanor?" you say.

Like the wind that flows
Fall into my arms again?
Your lovely stare ceases me
And I don't know what to do anymore...
