Birthday Party

Looking at Archie who was busy texting his bandmates, she tried to build a proper sentence to ask him.
What if he says no?
Well it wouldn't be the end of the world but it was her biggest wish.
"Archie?"
"Hm?", he didn't even look up from his phone.
"I have a question."
She hated when he did that.
Texting while being in a conversation.
It wasn't a conversation so far but he could at least put it away now that she's talking to him.
"Ask away."
He didn't seem like he was paying much attention.
"Can you please put your phone away?"
"Is that the question you want to ask?"
Still he kept texting.
She leaned over him and pulled the phone out of his hands.

Middy: how about Pizza?
Johnny: how bout beer? whose turn is it?
Middy: it's my turn but hey what about the Pizza?
Tazzy: I want Pizza too!!
Johnny: @Middy get beer!

"Sam give me my phone back we are in a serious discussion."
He reached out for the phone but couldn't catch it.
"Middy and Tazzy want Pizza, Johnny wants Beer. End of discussion. I'm talking to you and you don't pay any attention at all."
"Okay I'm sorry. Can I just text back quickly? I'll put it right away."
"Fine but hurry up please."
She gave the phone back and watched him texting like crazy.
"What is this about anyway? Are you having a party again?", she asked, not expecting him to answer though.
"Uhm...", he tabbed something again, "it's Tazzy's birthday on Wednesday."
"So you are having a party..?"
"Yep."
He sent one last message and put the phone away.
"Now what did you want to say?"
"I uhm.. I wanted to ask if you want to.. uh like sing..", she paused.
"Well sure I want to I always do?", he stated confused.
"I mean, do you want to sing in my song?"
"Like a feature?"
He randomly threw a pillow at her.
"Yeah."
She didn't throw the pillow back because she wanted to know the answer as soon as possible.
"Hmm"
He smirked and threw another pillow.
"Archie! I'm serious. Stop it and answer the damn question!"
He laughed and got up to get the pillows back.
"ARCHIE!"
She didn't let go of the pillows and caused Archie to fall over onto the couch.
He reached out for another pillow and threw it right into her face.
"Well okay then."
She jumped on top of him and hit him again and again with the pillow until they both laid next to each other laughing their asses off.
"I missed that.", he half said half laughed.
"Me too."
He just looked at her without saying anything.
"What?", she asked and threw another pillow on his stomach.
"You're afraid that I could say no aren't you?"
"Yeah.", she laughed because suddenly it seemed to be really stupid.
"Sams, I'm your brother why would I say no?"
"I don't know. Maybe because my music is different."
"It's not different. It's just piano based with a female voice. I can record guitar for your songs."
"You are amazing. So is it a yes?"
"Of course it is.", he laughed and hit her with a pillow again.
"I love you."
"I love you too, Smallie."
He stopped like he still wanted to add something but wasn't sure if he should really say it.
"What is it?", Sammy asked.
"Well I just thought...", he began smirking.
"Whaaat??", she pushed him back onto the couch and threw all the pillows at him she could find.
"Well maybe you should ask Johnny to sing in your song I'm sure he wouldn't say no to that."
He smirked and ran away laughing because Sam already collected pillows again.
He knew exactly how it got on her nerves when he said something about her liking Johnny or him liking her.
"You can't run away forever!!"
She screamed after him.
"And I have your phone so you'll have to apologize sooner or later to get it back!"
"Apologize? Ha! What for? Telling the truth?", he screamed from upstairs still laughing like crazy.
"For always saying that I have a crush on him because I DON'T!!!"
"Okay keep the phone."
Will he ever stop to make fun of that?
"Fine. I'll go sleep at Jordan's tonight."
She pretended to put on her jacket and shoes and opened the door.
Behind her she heard him coming down the stairs again.
"I knew you weren't serious about that."
"Well..."
"Come on give it back."
"Apologize."
He walked towards her trying to seems strong.
Well, in fact he was stronger than her but she didn't mind because she knew he was just acting.
"I'm not gonna apologize for telling you what I see.", he said making an emotionless face.
"So you don't want it back?", she smirked and waved it in front of him.
"Smallie give it back."
"Say it."
"I'm sorry."
"No you don't mean it."
"Ughh Smallie I'm serious give it back now.", he seemed to be really annoyed now.
"So am I, brother dear."
"Okay. I am sorry. I'm sorry for saying that you have a crush on him. But I'm not going to apologize for him liking you."
He stretched his hand out for her to give the phone back.
"Hmm okay. I go with this.", she gave him the phone, "but don't think I wouldn't take anything from you if you say it again! And next time I'm not letting you go that easy."
"Oooookay.", he said already texting again.
